    Hi 737 mechanic, I appreciate your video, I did the same with my RX350, my car run great now. It's almost 45T miles. My RX350 is doing a sudden change of gear at 45T. But after I did this method my RX350 runs smooth like new again. Thanks again.

    Pls do a video on how to drain and fill coolant fluids

  • @bizzle006
    @bizzle006 12 дней назад +1

    I'm curious. Why don't you spend a little extra time to pull the pan off rather than do this procedure several times?

    • @737mechanic
      @737mechanic  12 дней назад +1

      You would still need to do it 2 to 3 times because you won't get the fluid in the converter. The only reason to pull the pan is if you want to change the filter.

      @@737mechanic Thanks for your replay. I've been doing a lot of research on this, and per The Car Care Nut, it is NOT recommended to do this multiple times to get a "clean" result. That would do more harm than good, because the ATF needs a bit of material as the transmission ages to prevent slippage.

    My transmission is leaking underneath that car do you have a video on how to fix the leak? Thanks

    • @737mechanic
      @737mechanic  4 месяца назад

      No, without looking at it to see what is leaking, it is hard to tell what it would take to fix it.

    Thank you for the video! 737mechanic, appreciate it. I suppose that between each drain/refill, you drive around and park the car and wait until it is cold ?

    • @737mechanic
      @737mechanic  7 месяцев назад

      Yes, if you are going to do a drain and fill then you want it cold.

    how often do you change the transmission fluid? 60 k miles?

    • @737mechanic
      @737mechanic  10 месяцев назад

      I switched to the Valvoline maxlife so I go to 100,000. If I used the WS fluid I would be changing every 30,000.

    Doesnt the car need to be level with the ground?

    • @737mechanic
      @737mechanic  6 месяцев назад +1

      If you are doing a drain and refill using the measured amount that came out it doesn't matter because you are putting in the same amount that came out.
      If you are going to drain it out and refill using the scan tool method then the car would need to be level to make sure when it starts running out of the overflow it is correctly filled.

    So what was the proper amount???? Kindly mention that

    • @737mechanic
      @737mechanic  11 месяцев назад

      There is no specific amount. If you do the proper trans service like I did in the first video or you are very certain the level is correct to start with then whatever drains out is the same amount you put back.

    That looks pretty black for 1 month old fluid

    • @737mechanic
      @737mechanic  3 месяца назад +1

      Yup, thats because you are only draining out less than half the amount of fluid that it holds so you would need to do this 3 or 4 times to keep duliting it enough to clean it up.
