    So glad I subscribed. This stuff is awesome, I'd like to be doing something like this. Maybe with extended range basses...

      @DarkArtGuitars  8 месяцев назад

      That's also a really cool field, so many possibilities. If I was a bass player I'd probably be doing sth like that. Maybe someday :D

    Looks like you have a really nice workshop setup there now, nice!! Is just glue enough to hold the neck onto the body?

    • @DarkArtGuitars
      @DarkArtGuitars  8 месяцев назад

      Plenty. The glue itself is stronger than the wood around it. Many companies like Gibson, etc have been using that technique for decades.

    Wow, cool process. Did you learn all the steps by yourself?

    • @DarkArtGuitars
      @DarkArtGuitars  8 месяцев назад

      Yea, pretty much. A lot of RUclips videos and some books helped me along the way.

    Those threaded inserts are such a quality touch!!! For the humbuckers, did you use an imperial size or M2.5?

    • @DarkArtGuitars
      @DarkArtGuitars  6 месяцев назад

      I used M3 and drilled out the threads.

    What tremolo bridge is that?

    • @DarkArtGuitars
      @DarkArtGuitars  6 месяцев назад +1

      Nova Guitarparts. Normally they are black, but you can order custom colors or chrome plating.

      @@DarkArtGuitars Hello ! What wood is the neck of the Alchemist #1 guitar made of? And what is the cost of such a neck?

    • @DarkArtGuitars
      @DarkArtGuitars  7 месяцев назад

      That neck, just like this one here is Wenge/Maple/Padauk/Maple/Wenge. This costs an extra 50chf when ordering a custom. I don't sell just the necks by themselves if that's what you're asking.@@maksbrenon5424

      @@DarkArtGuitars OK ! How much will it cost to order an Alchemist #1 guitar from you with my logos?

    • @DarkArtGuitars
      @DarkArtGuitars  7 месяцев назад

      The exact price will depend on many things like woods, electronics,... but the base price for the Alchemist model is 1700chf. Feel free to check out the "order process" page on my website for more details on pricing. You can also send me an email if you'd like to discuss more detailed options.@@maksbrenon5424
