    No CNC router, no band saw, no shaper. Cheap router table, cheap jig saw. well used hand tools and amazing skills! Blown away!

    I've been obsessed with getting to know how to build a guitar, all vids on yt either use many machines or handcraft it for months. Watching this gave me the feeling that it's simple and I as a beginner can do it. You're the best keep it up

      What is a hardtail? Not as rounded I guess, more like a tele? (Or perhaps a P-bass body?

      @@chriss2452 a hardtail is a guitar without a tremolo system like a floyd rose. On a hardtail the bridge is fixed.

      @@chriss2452 The bridge is fixed on a hardtail and not floating on springs with a tremelo arm.

      @@sebsguitarworkshop It's amazing how you made that all out of scratch! What was the trem? Was it stable? (I'm always on the lookout for good strat trems 😂)

    Would love to do a flame maple Tele like this. I've already got the tailpiece! Sadly, I don't have a workshop.

      No workshop, no problem! Just channel your inner MacGyver and start crafting that flame maple Tele in your living room. You just need some basic tools like a saw, chiesels, sandpaper and wood glue :) !!!

      Yea it’s very hard ! I had to mesure like 10 times before drilling the first hole !! 😅

      That’s some good questions !! 🤔 What a like the most is the carving process of the body and neck! What I dislike is the finishing process and the sanding ! I have some difficulties with clearing this guitar but at the end I’m loving the result overall!

    Siiiick build! Sorry if it’s stated somewhere already but did you use Angie for the body? It looks like anigre from where I’m standing but it could also be another species. This is more so a “hey I think I know that grain pattern” style question hahah.

      It was listed as Espave (or cashew wood) never heard about it before ordering it! It’s kind of a soft wood. But the grain look great !

      Thank you 🙏! I used walnut for the neck and fretboard. For the body I used espave wood and a flame maple top!

      I didn’t used any paint on the neck! Just cover the neck with linseed oil. 3 or 4 coats of oil and that’s it ! If you have other questions don’t hesitate :)

      I used Angelus leather dye for this build. I used the red one :)!!

      For the neck I used lin seed oil. And for the body it’s nitrocellulose lacquer in gloss finish. 😊

    What woods did you use? The neck looks like oak? Or maybe walnut?
    What about the body?
    Nice looking guitar, very unique!

      I used walnut for the neck and fretboard. Espave (or cashew wood) for the body… I didn’t know this specie before ! And I used flame maple for the top :) !!

      @@gregcoldwell1531 No ... I found a cheaper version from china on ebay. I think it was 150$ Cad. (115$ usd) it came alone with no saw and no scale template.

    I really enjoyed watching this video, the guitar looks awesome.
    But have you really put in Wilkinson pups? This guitar is so awesome, it deserves high end, or self wound pups.
    And did you really not protect your ears/hearing during the loud parts of the build?

      Yes I put wilkinson pick up because i'm on a budget and this guitar its not for me. I can't go for more high end pick up for this build .... For hear protection you are right !! Since then I bought some ear protection!! Keep an eye on my next build to see that I'm more safe !! ;) Thanks for leaving this comment !!

      I used a radius sanding block that I bought from Amazon ! 9,5 inch radius

    Very cool build… intonation seems a little weird but who cares, that’s why they make chorus pedals. 🤔😆🤘🏼✌🏼
