One thing I love about this series is all the creative design choices for all the weapons and armor. Some of it is so off the wall and bonkers. I love it. It never gets old.
Don't know if anyone told you yet, but different monsters have different weak points deppending on which type of weapon you're using. For example, using bowgun against Gold Rathian or Silver Rathalos, you want to aim for the legs, not the head.

This video reminded me how 3U is perhaps the absolute worst MH when comes to farming materials, and being rewarded in the reward screen regardless of if you slay or capture the monster. Even some of the more common materials feel rarer to get than even a gem or mantle. When I was revisiting 3U a few months ago I looked up the rewards I was still missing on my Guildcard and how to get them. One of the rewards requires you to make and reach the final upgrade of 10 different weapons of each weapon type. I thought it was going to be easy. I decided I would start with the Rath weapons of each weapon type for one along with weapons of the ore and bone trees. With the Rath weapons all of them require multiple shells (and higher rank equivalents) to make and upgrade. I could complete 5 quests and I would be very lucky if I could get 2 shells/carapace/heavy shells. I got tired of doing the Raths I decided I would try making all the Diablos weapons. But the game refuses to give me the G-rank Diablos horn material. Because for some reason they made it easier to get the high rank horn material in G-rank than it is to get the G-rank material. 7 G-rank Diablos later I only got 1 g-rank horn material. The people who made and upgraded all the Alatreon weapons to the max in 3U are perhaps some of the craziest people out there.
10:30 no joke i had the stream up but was not listening because i was playing bloodborne, i have recently started playing dark souls 1 blind, and at the point where i beat those 2 gold guys, the fat one and the thin one. The game is alot easier than i thought. Also i saw you started streaming ds3 but i probs wont watch because i want to do all the games as blind as possible
There is one move that ruins Agnaktor as a monster for me. It's all the burrowing. There is little to nothing you can do but wait it out, and he does it so often. Bad design choice.
