It's interesting coming back to this review having enjoyed 11 years of sporadic / corporate golf with the Burner 2.0 irons playing 12-15 handicap. I can vouch for your comment Mark when you say the 6 isn't really a 6, it's a 5 etc. I've just upgraded to the P-790's following a great fitting at Cumberland Park (tried about 5 lower end irons and the P790's were right for me) and it's really interesting having played 3 rounds now with the P790's. The difference between the Burner 2.0 and P790 is very noticeable indeed and one that I'm comfortable making now. I guess 11 years of club development on top of a step up in club will always be very noticeable, but none the less it's still very enjoyable to understand all of the reviews and information with real playing time out on the course. Finally, I'm not sure if anyone will read this comment as this video is 11 years old (!) but if you're here because you're a mid-high handicap player and there are a set of Burner 2.0's going second / third / fourth hand, then get them all day long. Enjoy!
Im here with burner 2.0. Been playing with them for 8 years now, only until now concerned that I hit the pw 150m without knowing they are delofted and power-houses🤣🙌
I have the Burner 2.0 Irons and I love them! I would suggest these clubs to anyone! They do add distance to your shot, but they also are very accurate!
i've had the burner 2.0 for about a year now and i love em. Diffidently adds distance to your game, the only issues with control i have is with my 4 and 5 iron. Other than thoughts two irons i have no problem controlling 6-9 +p/a
good video always. when i hit both clubs i had the same issue. R11 was more controlling and lack in distance and the Burner 2.0 hits like a rocket off the face. I still like the burner 2.0.
Ive tested the R11irons with the taylormade mc forged iron. The mc was much better of the face and sounded alot crisper of the face as for the distance there wasnt much in it i was matching the R11 with the mc on every strike. The R11 a good iron but the forged range is better
All brand no substance the addias money making machine goes on what player category is the R11 aiming at??? for the better player they already have the CB range for game improvement they already have the burner range TM have taken the success of the white driver which lets face it they copied off cobra (who remembers Ian Poulter with the white ZL driver on tour 2 years ago) and pushed this into an Iron congrats to their branding team but what do their Irons bring to the market????

I got a new set of burner irons last week from american golf; I tried almost every club in the shop and the burners felt the best for me.

I hit both the R11 has a lighter impact to it but, when it came down to it I bought the burner 2.0s

nice video could you do a workablity on the R11 irons?
i am 10 handicap, i hit both of them, the burner was springier off the face, much better for the price
The Burner 2.0 feels light in the head to me. Does that relate to the swing weight?
my handicap is currently 19 but i am a single figure player standard , what should i go for , the burner 2.0 or r11s ?
Since when did TM cross over into the game improvement category?
2.0s are the best, i spent hours and hours at golf galaxy and nothing felt as great as hitting the 2.0s
Do they have much loft
