    He turned his lights off... That should be a MINIMUM 5 years on its own.
    I don't care why you are running, when you INTENTIONALLY turn your lights off then you are raising the threat level for everyone on the road. People ahead of you cannot see you and may hit you trying to avoid the police.
    Also... Crimes like this should NEVER be pled down...
    You should face every single charge.

    States need to pass MUCH tougher laws for these ridiculous high speed chases that endanger lives worse than a loaded gun. Cars become lethal weapons and should be treated as such.

    • @reallybadaim118
      @reallybadaim118 14 дней назад +1

      The technology exist today, and has existed for well over a decade that would make these a thing of the past. If they implemented it your car will not be able to travel very much over the speed limit on any given road. Check out your map on your phone. It shows you your speed and you can enable it to show the speed limit of the road you're traveling on. You can require all cars sold by a given date to be equipped with it. And LE can have a means to turn off your car with it. But then the traffic revenue generating cities would be worse off financially since they cannot drive revenue. Whole sections of law enforcement staff dedicated to speed enforcement would disappear. It would have a very big impact.

    • @VaHKGuy
      @VaHKGuy 13 дней назад +1

      It's very true that an operator can use motor vehicles as a lethal weapon.
      Hmm. Worse than a loaded gun? I agree.
      You're blaming someone other than the violator/criminal for these situations.
      Due to the weight, lethality, potential, I certainly hope you support banning motor vehicles. After all, motor vehicle use / ownership isn't in a Constitutional Amendment.
      Fewer motor vehicles & stricter laws would result in fewer motor vehicle operators using them as lethal weapons.

I’ll get an e-bike. It may take longer to get around, I won’t be able to carry many groceries, but I’ll save a hell of a lot of money. Even though there are a lot of thefts,accidents, etc., insurance companies are still making record profits. If insurance was more affordable for everyone, then fewer people would be without insurance. Greedy insurance companies wreak just as much havoc as these idiots running from cops.

    Ohio are stupid for not having push bars on their cars. It makes them at risk of being rammed and disabled plus they cannot perform PIT at any speed without body damage. That said I wonder if the performance of the cars is greatly enhanced by not being so nose heavy, as ohio charges seem to have much less understeer than others like ASP.

    Cop screaming like he’s at Parris Island with 20 new recruits at midnight. What the fine officer fails to realize is that this car was just an involved in a high speed collision with high potential for traumatic injuries. The driver is more than likely stunned, injured and/or under the influence of some combination there of.
    While not dismissive of the drivers actions leading up to the crash, yelling by commands at this person is probably not the most conducive thing to do at this point. I’m sure the officer has a huge surge of adrenaline he needs to dump, however he needs to calm down and take control of his emotions.

    Yanking on people immediately after a major high speed crash (regardless of what they have done) isn’t very smart especially doing it to innocent passengers. The driver is the guilty one not the passengers. These cops have such tunnel vision and anger as if it’s personal. The passengers injuries if made worse by the cops use of unnecessary force will make that person very rich from the taxpayers of that state… yelling get your hands up after a crash like that was just retarded…
