@@marcusvinicius917 I struggled like crazy with all of em hahaha. But now every time I fight them I go into the fights like "I've got this" and kill em way easier. I think over time the same thing is gonna happen with this fight with a lot of people. Heck a lot of people thought Melania was busted and genuinely impossible. But now she's old news. It's the nature of the beast with these games and bosses. People beg for something harder. Fromsoft delivers in spades, and a bunch of people complain. But those who stick it through and learn the patterns make light work of it in time. People watch guides from those people. And they end up beating them too, and the cycle continues.
@@mrringtalesworkshop It won't man, this fight is bullshit, is completely normal to struggle in the other ones, Radahn just have a heavy amount of artificial difficult. Unless they change or nerf him, even knowing the fight it's still 50/50 every single time, because if he decides to heavily spam aoe attack, you are screwed, no1 can dodge forever. But I like how you think, Gods exist to be slain by the Elden Lord 😎
So I think that move he does where he swings like left right and then the double sword scissor attack that would sorta “cut your head off”… I think that was glitched before, cause pre patch, in 5 hours of playing I never once was able to dodge it… and post patch I’m able to dodge it every time now! Like it physically wouldn’t let me dodge in the timeframe needed for the attacks but not bad at all now!
I found that you either want to use a shield and tank, or go light roll and have a lot of stamina. Trying to go in the middle and med roll while also kinda blocking just drains your stamina and doesn't leave you with enough to attack or block fully in the second phase. The tank option is better if you have a lot of dmg of course, and the light roll is better for status effects.
The mid roll is the universal standard due to the most comfortable requirements, and it has plenty of s and allows for good armor defense so that you can take 1-2 hits. A combination of blocking and dodging really does do the trick. It's also really easy to do mid roll and get an actual greatshield.
"Rise o tarnished... from the depths of a forgotten graveyard thy camest destined to fight gods and demi gods alike....from the lowely foot soldier to the gods of the lands between thy blade didn't differentiate thy resolve unmatched from a forgotten tarnished to a legend who felt the manifestation of the greater will, Consort Radahn and Miquella the kind...."
I've actually really enjoyed 90% of the DLC bosses. They've felt challenging, but still really fun to fight. Rellana and Messmer were undoubtedly my favorites. This boss is an entirely different and feels like such a staggering difficulty spike from the last main boss. I still find it fun unlike Valiant Gargoyles, but I feel it's going to get pretty old after my 200th death. Thank god the DLC soundtrack slaps so damn hard. It's motivating me to survive second phase more than 15 seconds. It just really feels like there should have been three more main bosses of ascending difficulty before this fight.
I think my first time hearing your voice 😭😭 i havent even explored the whole map yet and im already at the final boss! Second phase is so daunting at my level 😭
Tip of advice for anyone, use Marika flock hair that talisma reduce holy damage at the point to survive the circle Aoe attack and let you tank the light attacks after a meele attack
What talismans do you use? I’m on my own journey to defeat Radahn and Miquella, and I’m trying to learn as much as possible. Edit: Nevermind, I got it. Although what would have probably made that fight easier is the upgraded versions of the Emerald Talisman and the Twin Turtle talisman.
Holy crap indeed! A lot of HOLY!!! EDIT: all jokes aside, it took me the better part of 5 hours last night to beat this guy, and i was using the mimic. Took some experimenting though, as most conventional loads i ran my dex/int 60/50 just didn't work. I had to dodge so often in phase 2, i hardly had enough stamina to attack properly. Ended up picking up a shield just for this fight and this fight alone! No re-spec, just the heaviest shield i could afford and a spell that does piercing damage, that i have somehow managed to miss!
I still get so close (lil under a quarter of his health), then he drops the freaking sun on me like I touched his horse back in cailid, even attempted using Vow of the Indomitable, only lived a second longer then died to the follow up explosions.
This makes it official in my opinion, if even the legend has to resort to heavy armor and spammy/cheese build: the fight is ridiculous. Before you start yapping tho; i too beat them
His triple slash in phase one hurts immensely, and I got tired of using my apear build and wanted to go to ng+ so I summoned a silly bonk man to help me
But his build and stats aren't great, looks like he did a mix at the last moment for this fight. He should have more HP and more FP for ashes of war. Also no reason to not use a greatshield, getting fast roll with one is rather easy.
@@xColonel61 It plays a role but it's only a puzzle piece. My play style always involved getting the most powerful build possible. Lots of health, heavy armor, greatshields, fast roll, damage reduction miracles, defensive talismans etc. With such a build it often happens that I win fights long before I learn all of their moveset, I just dominate them with superior power and toughness.

Idk man, from ng 0 to 7 he still sucks for me, never really had problem with all bosses you quoted. After all, I can atk them without having to only dodge the entire fight
This is actually how you know FromSoft are becoming stale creatively.
@@EyeofValor honestly I agree, at this point, just make the arena explode every 5s, it's as dumb as their new artificial difficult.
so how much aggression and combos do you want for the DLC
miyazaki: yes
Beat him with Mimic and an Int build with Icecrag, Ranni’s Moon and Night Comet. Thank god i had one status effect i could inflict with my Int build
Hoooooooly crap that ending was so epic!!! Well done dude
Well Done! Liked and Subscribed!
Fromsoft... why did you let the new kid design the final boss???
Is This The Birth of "Let me solo Them" ?
YES
History was made
Good video! To clarify to others, ONGBAL on youtube has done it without a shield on a hitless run. It is possible.
Of course its possible without a shield
@@anotherone3815 don't understand the reason for your comment
Phenomenal fight; you earned that victory against the great Lion 👏🏼
Holy crap indeed! A lot of HOLY!!!
EDIT: all jokes aside, it took me the better part of 5 hours last night to beat this guy, and i was using the mimic. Took some experimenting though, as most conventional loads i ran my dex/int 60/50 just didn't work. I had to dodge so often in phase 2, i hardly had enough stamina to attack properly. Ended up picking up a shield just for this fight and this fight alone! No re-spec, just the heaviest shield i could afford and a spell that does piercing damage, that i have somehow managed to miss!
sir there is an even bigger jar helmet in the dlc
Did you clip your health bar out?m
I still get so close (lil under a quarter of his health), then he drops the freaking sun on me like I touched his horse back in cailid, even attempted using Vow of the Indomitable, only lived a second longer then died to the follow up explosions.
I feel the chime in the background during the last cutscene is miquella using his charm on radhan
This is the first time i heard the legend’s voice.
Prime radahn has overtaken Kos as the strongest boss fromsoft ever make
I felt that, “COME HERE YOU BASTARD!!” Lol
Yo man im tryna be like you and help people, should I do this with radahn ir with Bayle though? 🙏 (great work on beating radahn btw 🔥)
Bayle is taken by me, SummonIgonDude
@@bellpuggoyle3273 fair, probably gonna start with Bayle since he’s easier or should I just go straight for radahn?
@@Wok7799 I would say go for what people needs. I know many people struggle with Midra, Rellana, Dancing Lion and of course B O A R
@@Wok7799bayle is a gimmick boss, using the dragon katana literally destroys him
@@henriquemuller42 true but I’m not using that
can't wait for his let me solo him phase
This makes it official in my opinion, if even the legend has to resort to heavy armor and spammy/cheese build: the fight is ridiculous. Before you start yapping tho; i too beat them
Maaannn!! I never see you wearing full armor like that 😂
Without Bloodfiends Arm 223 blood loss build up, I don't beat this boss. Fuck this fight.
Radanh in mad version: That’s why Malenia used trick with me 😢😢😢
The end of the fight almost gave me heart attack so epic
"i was here" kids, that kind of people known as pace pals in speedrun, they just care about themselves lmao
One question: What do you currently call yourself in-game? LetMeSoloHim or LemmeSoloThem?
If you’re struggling what chance do us mere mortals have.
Be better and not put someone random stranger up on a pedestal because of your low self esteem to be good at a game.
Radahn is so powerfull that you need armour brooo
If we are right in saying… it took him 3 fucking hours. This is how good this guy is
His triple slash in phase one hurts immensely, and I got tired of using my apear build and wanted to go to ng+ so I summoned a silly bonk man to help me
This boss fight was made for shield poke build 😂
There is one Attack i can not Undrestand how to dodge
and that when he use left and right and
then and use it at same time.
Great job bro!!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Seeing this dude struggle to defeat him crushes all my hopes of me defeating him.
But his build and stats aren't great, looks like he did a mix at the last moment for this fight. He should have more HP and more FP for ashes of war. Also no reason to not use a greatshield, getting fast roll with one is rather easy.
@@cataliniancu5318 True, but skill plays a huge part. And seeing him try for an hour straight is kinda overwhelming lol
