Small observation.... I watch a lot of watch RUclipsrs and so many of them dress like 12-yr-old skateboarders when they're handling and talking about ultra-luxury watches. Maybe I'm just old fashioned but it's nice to see two men dress like grown-ups when they're talking about grown-up stuff. Great video! You always learn something from Eric.
Love Eric. Been watching his stuff for years on C&C and Hodinkee, and his expertise astounds me every time. He has even taken the time to message me back here and there when I reach out for watch advice.
I didn’t see it until the second time through (yes, I watched twice, I liked the stories) that this is a part one. Very much looking forward to part two!
Such a pleasant and enjoyable interview to watch. Lovely manners from the presenter who is also extremely well prepared on Eric Wind. Great great stories and interesting questions were posed to Eric. I definetively would like to see more of these interviews hosted by this presenter.
TBH, I have a hard time watching the Hodinkee videos with Eric Wind. He’s so smart, but those videos were monotonous. When I saw his presentation at HSNY, my opinion of him changed dramatically. He has a lovely understated sense of humor. Thomas did a great job letting Eric be himself and share his views candidly and with grace. Lovely interview (but we need to see the watches…)
I prefer the previous generation and zenith Daytona to the ceramic. The zenith is the first automatic and the previous generation is the first in-house chronograph…so both are future classics
Anyone know what model that Carrera Heuer shown briefly at 0:03 is? The dial is spectacular and I don’t think they seem to mention it in the video (unless I’ve missed it somehow)
Love these videos. Keep up the great work! Side note, that bottle of Lillet Blanc should probably be in a fridge. Fortified wines are not shelf stable after being opened.
This has a great “talking watches” vibe before they veered to heavily into the hip-hip/Hollywood crowd. Amazing. But make sure to focus the camera more on the watches next time, pls! Also, the music in the background is 👌🏼
Love seeing vintage and brands beyond the “norm”. For me, a vintage and obscure watch has far more interest than a modern Daytona or something else similar.
I got bored 7 minutes in... Just their faces and talking and few to none planes of the watches... Epic fail for me. We are here to see the watches and learn about them.
First great video, the only thing is I’ve been collecting watches for 45 years and was born in the mid 60’s, yet the younger watch community seems to want to mid pronounce Zenith saying (Zen ith) however phonetically and how it’s always been said both with the watch company and TV/broadcasting Zee nith (ˈzēnəTH). Simply go to Oxford dictionary and listen to it if you have a challenge

Eric Wind is a watch-pedia, thank you for having him on...he's a must watch (no pun).
He's a legend. I love when he is a guest on podcasts, gets down in the weeds.
Love the EL Primero….. classic timepiece.
Lovely to see your faces...but I believe the watches should be shown better...
Part 2 is coming soon ☺️ thanks for your feedback!
I love watching Eric. He really is an icon in the industry and knows his stuff! My favorite thing was hearing how his kiddos also enjoy this hobby!
I love to listen to Eric's ideas on vintage watches, and kudos to Eric for introducing us to affordable watches to collect.
For me "Substance versus Hype" perfectly describes this collection. Thanks 👍🏼
Great video Thomas! And Eric, thanks so much for the shout out and support!
Thanks for watching!

These interviews lately are excellent.

Eric is, for me, THE watch man!
Wind is so exhaustively smooth.
What an episode!
Just great! Made me 😊. Thanks!

The man the myth the legend, Eric Wind.
Oh yessss! ☺️

Hello, nice videos! a lot info of the market and history !and those 3 minutes videos are great !
Anyone know what model that Carrera Heuer shown briefly at 0:03 is? The dial is spectacular and I don’t think they seem to mention it in the video (unless I’ve missed it somehow)
The Blue Dreamer by Revolution and The Rake!
Help Where do I find this gentleman so I can start purchasing watches
Nice work
Just saw the zitewerk and that alone makes his collection great in my book. Even if he had no others.
That brown leather strap is amazing, does anyone know what brand it is?
Love these videos. Keep up the great work! Side note, that bottle of Lillet Blanc should probably be in a fridge. Fortified wines are not shelf stable after being opened.
Thank you Brian!😇
Me: Mom, I want Hodinkee.
Mom: we have Hodinkee at home.
Eric wind is the real life Ned Schneebly
Shout out to the Zenith El Primero
Remember when watches were just watches without nicknames!!!
Would prefer to hear about his review of watches coupled with visuals of them.
Love vintage watches!
Not the biggest fan of the Zenith designs…
Prefer vintage Omegas…
Thanks for the video!

Hi Aleksander, thank you for your feedback! 🙂 Part 2 with more watches is coming soon! Stay tuned!
better without background "music" 🤔
Love seeing vintage and brands beyond the “norm”. For me, a vintage and obscure watch has far more interest than a modern Daytona or something else similar.
Next time we see some of the watches, i think..
Check out Part 2!
i am a drummer too
I’m a simple man, when I see Eric Wind I just click the like button 👍
🤗
#Watch_Eric in MIAMI got the Sprite and not #CHRONO24 interesting
No images about the watches!! Too much talk!
Hi Alvaro, thank you for your feedback! Part 2 with Eric is coming today with a lot more watches :) stay tuned ☺️
