Our leader suho he is the best leader ever he is EXO and EXO-Ls guardian, i can't imagine EXO without suho we know how exo been through alot if the groep still together that goes to our leader hard work he never give up and we are here to support him and love him no matter what. Suho has 2 solo albums now, both in a pop rock/ brit rock kind of vibe. Suits his voice perfectly. Rumored to release a 3rd one end of this year
- he recently starred in Mozart the musical, huge success in Seoul
- he is in a Netflix comedy/mystery series called Behind Your Touch, also in trending/top 10 shows around the world ongoing show right now
- He is currently ambassador for Hugo Boss and various projects for Korean tourism board and even an education ambassador for a university
- He is very fluent in English now. He took the time to learn it during his military service to communicate better with global fans as well as to be able to take on more acting roles
- he and the rest of exo are in their own reality series ongoing right now called Exo Ladder Season 4. Hilarious show of challenges and games and there you can see how he is such a good sport being bullied and teased by his members all the time 😂 even though he is older than all of them apart from Xiumin, the members lovingly tease him all the time. But the rare times they are serious, they always acknowledge Suho as a big reason for the success and longevity of Exo, because he is a great leader.

The reason they were all emotional in that segment when they were talking about Suho as a leader is because it was their very last concert before Suho's military enlistment. His speech that day literally made everyone (including the members) cry and that just shows how well loved he truly is, both as leader Suho and as Kim Junmyeon.

Suho IS the best leader, he leads by compassion, patience and care. Never ever has he exercised his position to impose his opinion and authority on other members. EXO love him so much, but since he's like their father and he really has dad jokes they are very cheeky with him, especially Sehun. Suho is a son of a university professor, he's highly intelligent and has a degree in performing arts. And while he was in the military he did learn to play the guitar and speak English freely to be able to communicate with international fans without any barriers. Love this man so much. He's a legit Prince Charming and there isn't enough words to express my respect for him and describe all his wonderful qualities and how beautifully he behaves in any situation. So humble and kind, on top of being talented, smart, handsome and rich 😊

One of the main reasons why Suho was a trainee for 7 years was because he originally started out training to be a member of SM's legendary second-generation group, SHINee. However, right before SHINee was to debut in 2008, Suho injured his knee and he couldn't train for their debut showcase, so SM decided to debut SHINee without him. He ended up having to wait 4 more years before he debuted as the leader of EXO. But, by all accounts, this worked out for the best because he became the leader, and as the other EXO members say, he was born to be a leader. If he had stayed a member of SHINee he never would have become a leader, because Onew -- who is the leader of SHINee -- is 2 years older than Suho, and at the time of SHINee's debut it was pretty much a given that the oldest member would automatically be the leader. However, 4 years later when EXO debuted, the rules within the industry had kind of changed and it was no longer a hard and fast rule that the oldest would be the leader. Case in point, Xiumin is the oldest EXO member and, yet, Suho became the leader.
Being a trainee for 7 years isn't that uncommon. If you start to really look into it, you will find a lot of Idols who have trained for a very long time before they debuted. However, it all depends on how talented someone is or how much experience they have had before becoming a trainee as to how long they train. Some idols only train for a few weeks or a few months, whereas others could take years and they may be on the verge of giving up when the company finally decides they are ready to debut. And some trainees may never debut and end up leaving the company or industry. Unfortunately, just because you are a trainee doesn't guarantee you will debut. A lot of it is pure talent and luck combined with sheer dedication.
The guy in the blue sleeveless shirt is JY Park, i.e. Park JinYoung or JYP, the founder of JYP Entertainment (The company Twice and many other artists are under). Besides being the head of JYP Entertaiment, JY Park is a Kpop artist who still releases songs and albums like an idol. The show that EXO are on is called JYP's Party People, which is a program that was hosted by JY Park. I don't think you are seeing him everywhere; I think what you keep seeing are clips from the same episode of this show. It was an hour-long weekly show where JY Park would invite famous guests on to hang out, and most of the time they weren't artists from his company, they were just people he wanted to get to know. The show had a small club/bar theme so the performances were very intimate and up close with the audience. You will see clips from this show in all the members' guides.
The part where you saw Suho in the red dress was a special stage that he and several SM artists did for an SMTown concert in 2014, where they did a parody of the song and choreography for "Something" by the girl group Girl's Day, and not only was Suho involved, but Minho from SHINee, Kyuhyun from Super Junior and Changmin (Max) from TVXQ also dressed up as girls as part of that performance, ruclips.net/video/ZOL4YgB-6SI/видео.html. (They are all part of an idol friend group called the Kyu line.) You will see male idols dressed like women all the time in Kpop performances. The majority of male idols have dressed like a woman at least once in their career. It's just a standard part of Kpop culture. Crossdressing is something they commonly do to be funny or to show off just how pretty a male idol really is, etc.
The show where you see Suho solving the math problem is a variety show called Problematic Man. Idols and celebrities go on the show and solve trivia questions and brain teasers, etc. to show off how smart they are. The reason why they showed BTS RM's reaction in that clip was because they wanted to point out that even RM was having difficulty solving the problem and Suho figured it out first. As you may know, RM is known for having a really high IQ, so it was noteworthy that Suho was able to best him with this question. When BTS used to do variety shows, before they became super famous, the members were often on TV shows -- RM was a regular cast member on the show for several weeks. (Suho was the guest on the show that week.)
Suho and the other EXO members, and even the audience, are crying because that clip was at the end of the last concert that EXO held before Suho enlisted in the military. So, the members and everyone were saying goodbye to our leader who was going to be gone for the next 18 months. Suho was the third member to enlist. Xiumin and D.O. were already in the military at this time.
"Playboy" is actually one of EXO's songs, which you just recently reacted to EXO performing in concert. However, for that special stage Suho is singing a solo remixed version of the song. (The reason why you might not recognize it is because Suho's version sounds different than the sexy version you saw and heard EXO perform.) Fun fact: "Playboy" was originally written and composed by SHINee's Jonghyun and he gave the song to EXO. Not only do you need to hear Suho's solo performance, but if you like EXO's version, then you really need to check out Jonghyun singing the song. Jonghyun's original version has even more of that sultry R&B vibe, ruclips.net/video/GBe6kCMBQeU/видео.html.
And in the clip of Suho dancing, the song he was dancing to was also "Playboy."
Yet again, "Been Through" is not one of Suho's solo songs, it's a song originally sung by EXO, this was just a special stage in one of EXO's concerts where Suho decided to perform a solo version. To understand what makes Suho's version so great, you need to hear EXO's original version as well.
The clip of Suho singing that sounded like a song from a musical was because it WAS a song from the musical The Man Who Laughs.
You've never seen colored sand before? You can buy it in arts and crafts stores everywhere. "That weird orange substance," just like all the other colors, was just sand that was dyed different colors. They were using the colored sand as a funny skit to demonstrate the different elements of Suho's personality.

I think you would like Suho's solo music. It's Brit rock style with a live band, which isn't something I've seen other Korean artists do. He did a performance video for every song on his first solo mini album so you can just watch all of them if you want.
Xiumin is pronounced like shoo-meen. People usually say shoo-min for ease but that short "i" sound doesn't exist in Korean, it's always pronounced "ee".

I love these guys but there are a couple things I wished they added.
1- yes, Suho did solve it. Something about flipping the numbers. Jajajaja
2- Suho was suppose to debut with SHINee but he got hurt and couldn't. He was sad as he trained with them. We are so happy to have him in Exo as Leader.
3. The part where Suho was talking to fans at concert and was crying, as were the members, was because Suho would be starting his Military Service. 😢😢 Xiumin and DO had already enlisted.
4. Suho mentioning other groups is something that, to me, shows his humility as well as love and admiration for other groups. All of us fans should do the same, no matter who our faves are.
5. Suho, and the rest of the group, truly love their fans. One time organizers took off with fans hard earned money for an Exo concert. The guys still went, buying their own tickets, no makeup or fancy wardrobe, Kai at that time was injured, they were not able to have practice or dress rehearsal before. Yet, they performed for fans, even saying no to their managers when they told the guys to stop. Exo did not let fans cry and be disappointed because of what had happened.
6. It's great that Exo-L have been welcoming to you while on your Exo-L journey. I really do think that the majority of kpop fans are great and nice to each other. Yes, every fandom has some, less than friendly fans, but I feel the majority are welcoming and respectful. 😊😊😊😊

Our dear Suho is a wonderful leader, singer, actor and is the guardian of EXO and EXO-L. Junmyeon is an intelligent, cultured, humble, warm person, with a lot of curiosity and desire to learn. A lot has happened since 2020:

Talking about something else, it's a shame that the admin of the 'Cesar Oh' account decided to stop updating these fantastic guides. When she said it on Tweeter (2021), the only thing I could tell her was that it would be a great loss because she did a great job (although it was also hard and took many hours). EXO went through some really difficult times in 2014-2015. I don’t know if the group could have gotten through it the way they did without Suho. He gets teased by his members (in case you couldn’t tell) but it’s with affection. There have been many times when they’ve expressed their appreciation for him. ❤

The emcee that kept popping up that you were wondering about is J. Y. Park also known as JYP. He is the founder of the Entertainment company JYP Ent which manages groups such as Twice, Stray Kids and Itzy to name a few and his prodigy was Rain. JYP is also an artist himself and dancer so you can find music with him in it too. One of my favorite recent songs of his was a track he did with Rain called “Switch to Me”. JYP is a huge fan of Bobby Brown and has a room in his entertainment building named after him. In my opinion, “Switch to Me” is a track with elements of “Every Little Step” by Bobby Brown. The show you kept seeing clips from was called Party People and he would invite artists/groups on to interview and allow them to perform.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the song Switch to Me starts with JYP playing chords on a synth 😂

My bias in EXO is not Suho but his solo albums are my favourites among all.. His songs suit my music taste a lot.. Also his dad jokes are the best, am I the only person who thinks Suho is funny? 😅
Personally I love Suho's dad jokes. Xiumin is almost as bad with those as he is. Ironically Chen usually laughs at his. Both those variety shows are shows where everyone usually gets teased. Suho definitely gave as good as he got especially in the first one. Yes the members tease him constantly, but they love him like family.
