he completed his military service and filmed 2 movies right away, which are set to release in the later part of this year/early next year. Apart from that he is currently filming for a drama which will air in October. He released his first solo album "Empathy" a year ago, that album is a masterpiece!
He also appeared in a show "Off The Grid" where he travelled alone for 2 days, in that you can actually see him without his idol/actor image and hear his thoughts about everything!

D.o. is my bias for 10 years and counting,and yes he is the only one idol I saw who stand and performed on stage with bald head and I really proud how confident he is though he's visual is insane. Also Cesar oh didn't ad this talent he has too that d.o can do a beatbox too back then but he ain't use it now and I think just because he is to shy to show.
Yes, as an actor, D.O.'s short hair is part of the characters he plays. D.O. cut his hair short and had a buzz cut because at that time he was starring in the international movie called "Swing Kids" where he was playing a North Korean soldier who was a prisoner of war during the Korean War in the 1950s -- hence, why you heard that guy in the movie clip call him "commy boy," as a reference to the fact that his character is from communist North Korea -- so he had that haircut for his character in the movie.
As you saw in the guide, D.O.'s character in "Swing Kids" joins a dance group where they become a tap dancing troupe to entertain the soldiers and his captors, etc. So, D.O also learned how to tap dance for the movie and now he is really good. He spends a good part of the movie dancing. His character is supposed to be a really good dancer, so it's not like he could just pretend his way through the movie. He really learned some impressive tap routines.
You should check out "Swing Kids." Last time I knew, it was one of RUclips's free movies.
"Swing Kids" took a fairly long time to shoot, so D.O. had that short hair for a pretty long time. He also had short hair in several other movies and K-dramas where he played a soldier, etc. (D.O.'s look is dictated by whatever his character in the movie or drama calls for, so he doesn't follow the normal Idol standard when it comes to his hairstyles, and that is also one reason why you almost never see him dye his hair.) And then he enlisted for real in the military where he had to have short hair also, so he kept his short hairstyle for that as well.
He actually enlisted in the military early -- he was the second one to enlist after Xiumin, even though there are several members who are older than him -- because he wanted to get it out of the way so it wouldn't affect his filming schedule for the sequel to a movie he is starring in. Therefore, as soon as he was released from the military last year, he began filming two movies and he also released his solo debut album called Empathy with it's lead track "Rose" MV. That's how big of a deal actor he is, the production company was willing to wait for him to complete his military service in order to allow him to be a part of their film -- granted it was the sequel to the previous movie he had starred in, so they kind of needed him -- but still it shows how respected he is that they would take his schedule into consideration.

D.O. was done with his military duty and already released his solo debut album Empathy. The title track is called ‘Rose’ which people say that it may seem a simple chill vibe but when they try to cover it, it is a hard and tough song to sing. Since he is very good in adapting to different language, he also released ‘Si Fueras Mia’ (spanish) and ‘Rose’ (english ver). Many idols always cover his songs and even named ‘Thats okay’ as their healing song.

D.O is actually part of the dance line when they debuted, but due to some scheduling conflict, he didn't get much time to practice dancing... But you can clearly see in History dance practice that he's actually on par with the dance line members.

Do Kyungsoo is just an incredible person that I will never stop admiring. At first glance, the album, the songs and his vocals may seem simple, but in fact it is not so at all. A large range does not make you a better vocalist yet, because another important role is played by the "technique", which Kyungsoo undoubtedly has great. He has such control over his voice that he makes all the transitions from low to high notes completely smoothly and even seems to make no effort. Quite naturally, during a song, it can change its timbre from incredibly sweet to sexually rude and sound simply amazing in each. Kyungsoo is one of those few vocalists who can make your heart flutter.

Do Kyungsoo is just incredible in every sense. He is one of the few vocalists who can make your heart flutter and cause a storm of emotions. He manages his deep voice and sweet timbre with such ease that the same part can sound completely different "starting very roughly and ending unrealistically gently". 1) Yes, in most of the covers you heard of D.O. in this guide, Chanyeol was the one playing the instruments, like at 22:10, 23:30, 24:08 and 25:05 Chanyeol is playing guitar, and at 28:08 Chanyeol is the one playing the piano.
2) If you're going to check out D.O.'s acting projects, I'll recommend you to watch his movies 'My Annoying Brother' and 'Swing Kids' (the one at 6:22 and 6:40) first. Both have amazing acting performances by him and are really worth watching.
3) D.O. also learnt Taekwondo for his movie My Annoying Brother.

FOREVER ETERNA-A FACT THAT HAS NO LONGER NEEDS ANYONE'S APPROVAL. To say that in EXO someone is better and someone is worse is simply IMPOSSIBLE because absolutely every participant is unrealistically talented, this is literally an IDEAL GROUP. Every EXO group and solo album is on a completely different level to this day, even after 10 years of career. I am absolutely not afraid to say that EXO is a real K-POP, now there are countless groups in the fourth generation, but they absolutely do not stand out in any way, trying to focus more and more on the West and POP music, thereby becoming monotonous and disposable. EXO is the only band in the entire K-POP industry, by the way, to this day where literally every member sings amazingly, including rappers and dancers. Minute popularity does not determine the talent and legendarity of the artist, because even after 10 years of his career, EXO songs are literally sung by the whole of Asia, because EXO is the real K-POP. I will never stop admiring this amazing band, even if 40 years pass, let a billion more bands like bts be released, they will never surpass EXO because their music is timeless, this is what defines the legendary artist.

Guess what.. If exo is filming or Kyungsoo is on the set with other people, whenever it's time for their meal, he always makes sure to feed the staff as well. This is why he's the sweetest. He is really that one in a million kinda guy. It's hard not to fall in love with D.O
He is also called the AlmoKyung meaning he is very unpredictable. He isn't funny because he keeps cracking jokes, he is effortlessly funny bec of his reactions towards things. D.O. is the reason I discovered EXO. I was into K dramas before Kpop but after watching one of his very earliest TV dramas i loved him so much. In finding out more about him BOOM I discovered EXO. So basically he is my ultimate bias and EXO is my very favorite group ever. He is so talented. I'm so glad I found him.

Chen, Baekhyun & Chanyeol are the same age but they consider D.O. as the same age as them since he was born 2 months after Chanyeol. & you see him on some concert clips w/ shaved haircut since he filmed back to back movies on w/c his role was a soldier that year. movie producers practically lining up for him when he was discharged from the military.
He released his first solo mini album last july 2021. His album consist of 6 songs and 2 bonus track. The 2 bonus track consist of: (1) the original(?) english version of the title track of the album and (2) the original(?) spanish version of one of the b-sides of the album.

As far as his superpower goes.....Force is kinda like Earth....not so much Star Wars Force like telekinisis. You'll see when you watch some of the VCR's where their powers are used.
