I like how she's mature enough to see she's been neglected but also that she has a privilege not many do, she sounds like she will be just fine with or without her immediate family
Kinda goes to show that “economic privilege” is not all it’s cut out to be for kids. Most important thing is love and sincere care. Kids in particular are highly sensitive to preferential treatment of other kids.
@@vixouu7925 Yeah you see so many “well off” kids doing drugs and acting like jerks because their parents focus too much on making time into money and not making children into adults. So they have a tendency to abuse money because it’s money they have and love they lack.
yeah I was confused too, like I thought op was an adult: "what did you do you do OP, are you an affair child or something, were you a devil child? minor!? you're a child? they forgot a child!"
Money doesn’t translate to good parenting. I know that and I’ve been broke all my life. Doesn’t matter how much money you throw at your kids you have to love them too.
Oh I know it HURT... but one must wonder, will life even change that much for OP? It's obvious that they've been left out of the family, the forgotten third. This was just the happening that would have always come.
I mean not inviting her to dress picking and stuff maybe I could see as preferential treatment (still fucked up) but "forgetting" to buy her a plane ticket? "Forgetting" to get her a dress? I dont buy it. They straight up didnt want her there and would have left her home or push her to the sidelines either way
I keep wondering why they don't take care of her way the way they did their other kids, and I think I have an explanation. They had their first two kids, the boy and girl they'd always wanted for their ideal family, and then accidentally got pregnant a third time, and at first they were excited and thought it'd be a good idea just have one more and kept the baby, then when they had her it was going good for them for a short while, like the grandma said, until they realized they couldn't take her places like they could with their older children, and she wasn't developing as fast mentally as they wanted her too, (side note, neurodivergent children don't always develop the way other neurotypical children do, for instance I knew how to talk as a child, I just didn't, so she might be neurodivergent,) so they started doing things without her as a family because she didn't suite their idea of a picture perfect family. There are also people that dont want to give their kids up for adoption even if they can't provide for them either emotionally or financially. Just my opinion.
Stop second guessing. Start working hard on your education to get a good paying job so you can support yourself as soon as you legally can. (Don't neglect looking into the trades, which have excellent wages!) Study well, work hard, get out of there, and just go as low contact to them as they have been to you. *Choose your own family members.* Those people are just relatives.

Fr, I was in somewhat of a same situation a few years back, and people told me my experience wasn’t valid just because my family is kinda well off.

All the money in the world won't make up for a lifetime of abuse and neglect.
yes it does
@@AnviKendrekar-i6mNo it doesn't.
“I’m a minor” BRUH HOW DID THEY FORGET A CHILD 💀
Cause they are bad parents.
“Well don’t come” how would she without a ticket? Room? Dress? Etc..
This is crazy that op thought they were in the wrong, poor kid
I am just questioning here, why did they had OP ?
If mom was happy with big sis and dad happy with big bro
Why did they even try for a third
I thought she was the middle child?
@@phillipschwoerke8374 if you listened to the story its stated a few times that OP is the youngest

Poor girl. She is not spoiled, and money doesn’t make up for neglect and abuse.
