literally every tf2 streamer has been getting ddossed now, its awful. casual servers are breaking too, making it hard to join.

@@no-ni4to Basically, somebody wants to use an unknown method of preventing people from playing tf2 for as long as possible, specificallly targetting tf2 twitch streamers. This has been happening to many different streamers unfortunately.
@@no-ni4to DDOS is basically flooding the servers so they can’t handle anything, so when a player tries to connect, the computers try to let them connect along with the tens of thousands of requests that are happening cause of the DDOS. I suggest looking it up if you want to learn more

The trouble with queuing has been an issue for a few days now, and it seems to be affecting mainly casual and mvm. So I'm not too surprised that you found a competitive match first. The ques have also been the longest I've ever seen in my life. In case you couldn't tell, I haven't been alive that long lmao.

yeah I was trying to load up 2fort last night, usually it would take atmost 5 minutes but even that was rare since there are usually so many servers playing 2 fort. it took an hour and a half to load up a 2 fort map with only 4 other people on it

Why don't y'all just pull up a vanilla 2fort community server? Shit's better anyway, I've almost never seen a bot in a community server.

@@angrybirdsfan9826 that's why I said vanilla. No RTD, no events, no random bullshit. Literally just casual, but you can join and leave whenever you want. And most importantly, no cheaters.
Even with RTD, I'd rather play with that than waiting 5-10 minutes just to join a game full of bots. Sad, but true. Rtd isn't that impacting anyway, many people forget it exists half way through. The only moment I remember is when I see someone using it.

This happened to me last night. Queueing for everything resulted in nothing for like 5 minutes, so I went Community.

when you find a comp match before casual AND mvm, you know something bad is going down with valve servers AND IT AINT THE TUESDAY REPAIR STUFF!

I really enjoy playing the valve competitive because it’s as close to casual 6’s as we’ll ever get but I don’t play it anymore because most of the matches have the same 3 hackers who use accounts to que 24/7 and its super depressing because one of the ones who does this has 4k hours of tf2 on his main account where he doesn’t hack

Yeah turns out Competitive Jack's up your PC requirements to run it, which is why it's lagging. It's pushing your computer so much harder than casual does by design, basically creating a cap on hardware. It can crash your game or computer if your computer can't keep up with it.
