Jake Stein, YOU ROCK. My student from last year, musician extraordinaire and all-around top-notch human being. He gives me hope for the future too. Incredible moment!
The guy is a legend. He really nailed that and under enormous pressure. He pulled through like few could have. I dont even know him and I am proud to have heard this and proud he got up there. HUGE RESPECT !
@@jakestein32 If this is really the guy who played replying, that is crazy that you got up there on that stage and handled yourself like that. I'm surprised they didnt offer you a place in the band.
So imagine you're 19 years old playing an iconic 90s hit with the Goo Goo Dolls...and the flip is your the Goo Goo Dolls and you have impacted a kids musical repertoire who is younger than the song he's playing!
The Goo Goo Dolls have been my favorite band for years.. John Reznik is an awesome front man and writer.. He is always so humble and has a great sense of humor, even injured he still performed.
OMG! This has to be one of the most endearing videos… positive, musical, uniting fans. It’s got it all, and we all know a young guy like Jake working to break into the scene
Just an amazing band!! Been one of my favorites since I was a young teenager. Absolutely love these guys, so heart felt and amazing that they reach out to their fans like they do❤
This gave me goosebumps and made me smile so much. We need this so badly in our world today. Music makes things so much better and brings us together 🥰🥰. Jake rocks!!!
This is so heartwarming- my dearly beloved son who passed away 3 years ago would have given anything to play on stage with Elton John. Kudoes to you Jake!
This made me cry... I don't often regret not having children, but it's times like this that I do. This kid's parents must literally be bursting with pride.
Same boat as you. I'm 48 years old and no kids. Life has been a horror show for me but it helps to know others can enjoy what they have. Experience what you can with who you can.
@@RealisticRick27 And I agree...Ford sucks. I worked there just 18 absolutely miserable months, as a trouble-shooting electrician on the Final Assembly Line. Highest hourly wage I've earned...but you could not have kept me there for double.
I’m a amateur musician. I can’t imagine the pressure I’d that lol. I feel stage fright just uploading my originals here on RUclips. I can’t imagine that feeling.
What a great success story. Goo Goo Dolls started off as a punk band in Buffalo. Not a big fanbase. I remember seeing their name spray painted under a bridge. Years later they had a hit song. I was like "no way!" Then another and another hit. A friend of mine sat on an airplane next to the bass player and said he was the coolest guy ever. Super nice and talkative. So happy for them and glad they stayed together and still rockin. The dude can sing!
That’s me! Thank you so much!
Brother, everyone is smiling and enjoying this video. Shout out to your sister too!! AWESOME experience i'm sure!!

I always enjoy when bands do this during their live shows (allow fans to come up on stage and play with them).

They still hang out in the Buffalo area and are good people. I've heard of them volunteering at the elk lodge in a buffalo suburb
