Podgers, useing a twicher, rolling gauge's, dubbing lids out.. browning, 50kg bags.. Sagar in ya muilt or cream of tartar in summer.. Cavity closers as spats for big lids..and over mixed muilt in Winter.. bonding & bits of board with string for patching holes in ceilings Gaffer having a fit because you're laying on after miday. Feeding, knocking up on ya 3rd day.. Getting mixer going in the morning. Mixing up a bath with shovel. If you can remember that lot and still laying on today.. you're a spread. Muilt was the end.. learning to clean buckets out was the start.. Only 4 channels on RUclips (in to regards plastering) worth watching DamsTV is one of them🍻👍👍
I remember leaving school 84 and labouring for a plasterer and using that plunger man that was hard work. I learned how to plaster but never for a living it's hard on the shoulders.

I’m a plasterer …at last a normal guy not showing off with 5 bag gauges..well done
2 gauges a day is enough for me mate bag and half a gauge
Love the 7 bag gauge brigade it’s hilarious…keep on spreading buddy
@martynh4407 7 bags....huh I have spilled more on my boots 😄 🤣 😂
Are you using the 16 inch marshalltown all the way through the process?
@jasonrichardson7762 yes mate just the last pass with a superflex trowel

Gorilla tubs very good handy to put washing in

Thing of the past
If you have only been plastering for 13 years, as you yourself said, you wouldn’t even remember lodgers, they went out at least 25 years ago!!
Sorry mate, I have been plastering for 28 years.and I still have a podger somewhere 😀 😉
Hi mate. Really enjoying your vids but having a hard time hearing what you’re saying at times. Recon you could do with a wireless mic.
Ok I will get one thanks
@damstv8717 No problem man, keep up the good work.
Not a bad plaster 8 out 10 .
I never understand why people go over the scrim first is it because in the old days you had to stick the cotton scrim on first
its better to fill your srim first.think its just how i got taught when i served my time 27 years ago we used paper tape back then
