My wife and I are retired extended rv travelers and stayed at the Anaheim Harbor Resort a little over a mile from the parks. We purchased the parking pass along with the park tickets and quickly discovered that Uber was not only way cheaper but was also way faster. It would take us 45 minutes or more to get from our RV site to the main entrance at a cost of $30 per day for the parking pass. It was approximately 15 to 20 minutes from when we called Uber to when we were at the front gate at a cost of $12 to $13 per day ($6 one way). This is another option for getting around the area and an alternative place to stay.
Only have visited DL once back in 1986 when we lived in CA. It did make me fall in love with all things Disney. I am old enough I remember when Walt was alive and there’s that connection going for it. Maybe someday I’ll get back there and take a grandchild.
The best day of the year to go to Disneyland is Christmas eve. 🎄 Most families are home wrapping gifts and getting ready for Santa 🎅 Clause. So my secret is out. 😊❤
Oogie Boogie Bash got me to finally visit Disneyland. I’m a 40 something California native who never had any interest in Disneyland. In 2019 I heard about OBB and decided to go there instead of my usual trip to Universal’s HHN. It was a great trip and the atmosphere was wonderfully spooky in a surprisingly beautiful way. It did feel like a one-and-done type of event though.
THE ROSE RASPBERRY MACARON IS THE BEST THING IVE EVER EATEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DREAM about it on the daily! Lol!
ill be in san diego for a wedding in april but will visit DL park for a day and stay at a good neighbor hotel for a night. super excited. i'm born and bred wdw florida so this will be a change for me. i'm trying to soak in all the info.
Just returned from Disneyland!....and I already wanna go back lol but thats the good things about being form Texas....Im right int he middle of both parks! 😆
I'm pretty sad about the Haunted Mansion's new queue expansion into Magnolia Park. They have tried to squeeze that park out of existence since the very first Nightmare overlay. But it's actually an opening-day area and quite peaceful to sit in when it's accessible. I know they will still try to preserve the magnolia trees but undoubtedly will remove the water fountain as they expand both the Mansion queue and Tiana's Palace seating areas.
Here are 3 reasons why our son wants to go to Disneyland in 2024 1: he wants to see special events 2: he wants to go to D23 3: there are some characters that our son wants to see
Just a little reminder the Disneyland good neighbor hotels do not give you the perks that the Florida ones do like the half hour early entry We like the peacock Hotel.
For those of us in the eastern US that are not quite *total* Disney freaks, it's not easy to justify going to Disneyland rather than the Florida alternative... no matter how much new stuff there is.But it's still great to hear about it!
Yes, I feel the same but in reverse. No particular interest in Florida Disney anything. Interesting to hear about it, but not sooo into Disney that it's worth going there. I love the history of Disneyland, was born in Socal even tho I moved at 1 y.o. there's the stories of family going to the places replaced by Disneyland. History of ppl that knew Walt, and the process of the beginning of it all. In Disneyland, it's about a different aspect of Disney, rather than just going on rides. Just my 2 cents.

Look at canyon RV in Yorba Linda. Huge campsites. Full hookups.

Should Disneyland be one of my Amtrak Destinations?
While they’re expanding the que area for Haunted Mansion, will the ride be closed down or still running?
Closed
Is Disneyland more expensive than Disneyworld? In general.
hopefully by next November
The answer to the questions, “should you go to Disneyland” is always yes!
going in a week!

@@atxbee It was awesome! The Crowds were pretty bad, but the wait times were not bad at all. Tops 25 min. Mostly under 10 min.
