Caleb Williams, once under moonlight, was rumored to concoct spells from old grimoires, his playbook not of football but of arcane symbols. Whispers say he seeks the philosopher's stone to turn lead into gold, his touchdown dances are rituals, invoking ancient spirits for victory. His locker, adorned with sigils, holds not just gear but relics. His gaze, piercing through opponents, is said to cast the evil eye. In the dead of night, his chants echo, weaving spells for the next game day.

I bet and certain if he got more reps and got to play more games he'd become a good starting NFL QB.. The NFL just overdrafts QBs all the time. The Bears should have just let Tyson play this 1st year and let Caleb sit. Bc what u could have done is let Tyson play and build up trade stock for him or at best make him a more prepared backup. @Kenwoodsports.M Caleb is bad, but even a moron can see the coaching is bad. There was 5 plays Sunday, where the WR on the same side ran the same route. It's ridiculous. Having a rookie QB checking at the line every play.

Nothing wrong with benching a player especially if they are a rookie quarterback that is struggling. If anything all rookie quarterbacks shouldn’t play until their 3rd or 4th season so they can learn.

Kelvin yes he hold the 🏈 to long but he is not the 1st great College QB to hold it to long in the NFL can you say Allen, Mahomes etc that coaching he has way to many can't miss skills and talent he needs way better coaching and you don't draft a QB this talented and NOT run his college system and just tweek it a little bit! Daniels is playing well because the HC brought in a ex-college coach that ran the right system for him! ie Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield college coach! He need an OC like EB a guys who tough, demands fundamentals and discipline from all of the offensive players!!

Rob Parker sounds foolish. What does Caleb's bad play is he not noticing? All of these Caleb idolaters, including Rob, are getting on my nerves. Caleb is not the next Mahomes. He's the next Zach Wilson unless he learns how to play from the pocket. What's ironic is Rob was originally an Aaron Rodgers guy, but then Mahomes came along and blew past Rodgers with Super Bowl wins. Rob loves to take shots at Mahomes but yet is a stan for the Mahomes fake in Caleb. Now he's using feelings over facts and going on a silly rant because the Bears players want Caleb benched. That's hilarious. Just like all the other Caleb idolaters blaming everyone else but Caleb. The Bears have coaching issues and are dysfunctional, but Caleb's style of play doesn't translate to the NFL.
Caleb takes too many sacks, fumbles too much (at least in college), plays hero ball too much, inconsistent from the pocket, plays out of structure too much, and immature. He is playing exactly the same way he did in college except he's not getting away with that playground ball stuff he does.
The "flashes" Rob speaks of are the Jags & Panthers, two bad teams with terrible defenses. Think of them like San Jose State & Arizona State, whereas the rest of the teams Caleb played were more like Notre Dame. If was a fifth we all be drunk Rob. Don't talk about that Commanders game because it shouldn't have come down to that because the Commanders couldn't score in the red zone. If you're going to do a what if, I can play that too. What if the Titans hadn't turned the ball over in week 1, what if Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua were healthy when the Bears played the Rams, that's 2 more losses. If Caleb does not learn how to play consistently from the pocket, he will be a bust. He's not the best prospect since Andrew Luck. Y'all believe that lie. He was, in my opinion, maybe the 3rd best QB behind Penix & Jayden.

Support System: The Bears' investment in offensive talent like DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, and rookie Rome Odunze suggests a strong foundation for Williams to grow. His ability to utilize these weapons will be crucial, but early signs are positive, with moments of synergy between him and his receivers.
In conclusion, while the journey to NFL stardom is never without its hurdles, Caleb Williams' statistics and the qualitative aspects of his play argue compellingly against the label of "bust." His development trajectory, supported by both numbers and team dynamics, indicates he is on the path to becoming a cornerstone for the Bears for years to come.

Winning Games: While individual stats are important, team success is often the ultimate measure. The Bears have had moments where the offense, led by Williams, managed to keep games close or secure wins, like against the Titans, where the defense and special teams contributed heavily but where Williams' performance was pivotal in maintaining offensive balance.

I have watched and love the Bears for 20+ years, and we keep getting quarterbacks and putting them out there before they're ready. I don't think there's any issue sitting a quarterback so that they can see how it works behind someone else. Patrick Mahomes sat behind Alex Smith, and they still have a bond today. Jordan sat behind Arod and they both have such mutual respect for each other. There is nothing wrong with sitting a quarterback until they're ready, we need to stop rushing these guys.
I am fine with Caleb Williams being our quarterback of the future. I think he has it. I like his swag, I like how he is; however, every passing week you can tell he's believing in himself less, he is not throwing the ball enough. He is gun shy, which is the opposite of Jordan love or PM15. Sitting does not mean we are moving on from him, it means we are investing in him.

The data says he's bad and his teammates know it and those "other reasons" (painting nails, not a great leader, on top of being inaccurate) do factor into them wanting out!
