Philly deserves better. It wasn’t that long ago when a 6’0 Allen Iverson was consistently leading the league in scoring and minutes (40+ mpg) with a multitude of injuries and still driving into the lane during the dead ball era. Embiid is a big wimp that will never get past the second round!
Only one thing is gonna fix this. The contracts will need to be just like the NFL. Guaranteed money whether you play or not causes these types of NBA players. I’m not saying the NFL is always fair but the contracts make sure people don’t get lazy.

Maybe Joel Embiid could use a change of scenery. Staying in the same place for so long can be a good thing if you are succeeding, but can also be a bad thing if you aren't, which makes it feel like you are stuck in a rut.
