I will say it as many times as I see necessary: Mega Man 11's soundtrack is great, it's just that it does not fit the established composition style of 1-10, and this is due in part to the lackluster instrument choices.

That's like comparing apples to oranges. You can't simply compare the style of this to the style of the MegaMan Maker version, as this is synthesizers and MegaMan Maker version is 8-bit. You may prefer this style over 8-bit, yes, but calling it better isn't true, because they aren't the same style of music.

I think Mega man 11 has some great melodies, but the sound font doesn't do any of them justice. Its kinda like the Gameboy Megaman 2 ost: With the right love and care, those tracks can be killer.
I sequence everything by ear! For NES and SNES tracks, I have programs that help me break down the OST into singular tracks to make transcribing easier, though.
