Patamon is a flying mammal like a bat and has bat like wing. One of Venus' counterpart in Greek Mythology, Aphrodite's sacred animals is the swan.
Venusmon as Swanmon's Mega also makes sense because Venus is the Roman goddess of *Love!* Absolutely perfect choice!
Sirens also lured sailors with some variety of attraction, which can tie into love
Right? Like, if you can't become an angel, I suppose a goddess will work!
Another fun theme I noticed with your Patamon line is paranormal romance-the bad boy vampire and fallen angel who get redeemed through the "power of love"

I love the Lucemon-X. Really gives the idea that despite, or even because, of exploring the more dangerous and harmful sides of draining and obsessive love, the patamon can end up being something that embodied both destruction and creation, since love can both destroy and create.
This is one of the things I like about Digimon... the possibilities are endless

Well truthfully it has fallen now and it's not because people aren't saying that Digimon don't have a fandom it's bandai's fault honestly think about it pokémon for example there's a new video game there's new merchandise that it's in the cultures like ice every day there's something pokémon related coming out almost every week every month or whatever and not just in Japan but worldwide can you really say the same for Digimon No you really can't And I don't know why Ben died don't put enough time and effort because when I was growing up Digimon used to be everywhere just like pokémon but once we got to like season 3 they just stopped all promotion they stop merchandising things it's hard as hell to get certain Digimon items or some of the video games don't get you know imported outside of Japan So yes when people say it has fallen off it has fallen out off because of the promotional because of Van dye's treatment of the franchise not because digimon's not good anymore it's because of how it's been treated by its owners

Myotismon X and Lucemon X are two are two of the very few X-Antibody Digimon I like better than the original designs, so I'm happy to see them here. I thought the Venusmon and Aegisdramon lines were particularly inspired, as well.

And well, Venus is the Roman name for Aphrodite, who was the godess of love, so it really fits well!

I would interpret your Patamon line to be love conquering the darkness inside. TK's love for all digimon causing his Patamon to take on previously antagonistic forms and purify them of their darkness/evil.
I love the Cargodramon to Aegisdramon line for Armadillomon because he seems to take over a lot of the team's transportation needs in all three forms in the anime (Ankyllomon can carry them all, Digmon can make them tunnels, and Submarimon being a literal submarine). So Pteramon feels out of place initially, possibly only being able to carry one person, then gains huge amounts of transportation power when it digivolves.
I love the line you gave Pipismon. And I can just imagine Myotismon X becoming Lucemon X as the darkness being redeemed to be a force of good. Since I've always saw Lucemon X as a redeemed form for Falldown mode despite being a Demon Lord. As it makes sense to me from both a design and storytelling perspective.
Thank you for finally making Patamon turning Pipismon worth womething. It always bothered me, but now, I can think about it in a very cool way. Also, having Gatomon ending on Venusmon, as the roman goddess of Love, with the DIgi-Egg of Love, is a fantastic idea

Having patamon become these more evil like Digimon would be a fantastic arc for tk being able to express his hate for evil and being able to embrace his more rage full side and coming to terms with it. That could even be what unlocks lucemon becoming the x antibody form

I love Pokemon, don't get me wrong, BUT Digimon has ALWAYS had a special place in my heart. I just never had a lot of deep exposure when I was younger, but now we have incredible channels like this to help reinite my LOVE (no pun intended) for Digimon and gives me so much information regarding Digimon I didn't know when I was younger. Thanks for your videos Karn, keep it up! Here's to 100,000 in the future!!

These are great evolution lines.
I never thought about Parrotmon > Murmukusmon before, but that's honestly very visually fitting. Murmukusmon redeeming itself isn't a new concept in the franchise either, since that happens in Next, though he becomes HolyAngemon after redeeming himself.
Something I've always loved doing as a kid was look at digimon (armor especially) who didn't have "official" digivolutions and come up with my own. Videos like these validate little kid me so much lol
I really like all your picks here, especially with the visuals and themes you chose for them. Patamon's especially. I don't really pay the X antibody stuff any attention, but using Myotismon X and Lucemon X is so good and works so well. I can't wait to see the rest of your choices for the other eggs.
The mentions of Ceresmon being a perfect merger of Love and Sincerity makes me believe it would make for a perfect Fusion/Jogress for Sora and Mimi. This is actually something I’ve thought about for a long time now but you just brought that memory back for me.

Pteranomon's Mega being Aegisdramon works well when you also consider Pteranomon's namesake the Pteranodon most likely hunted by dive bombing & swimming like a pelican. I know there's a debate on whether or not Aegisdramon can fly, but seeing as it has digivolved from Eaglemon & Canoweissmon before, suggesting it's a "triphibian" mon.
I could also see fros velgrmon working in a line for swanmon, the long neck, white feathers, and even the peice of metal on the chest and the metallic claws. As for the between stage, maybe hippogryphomon?

This video gave me an idea: what if one of the next custom art videos, instead of of designing a Mega stage or a Rookie was about designing an Adult or Ultimate stage that was between two pre-existing Digimon?
It came to me seeing after seeing the struggle to make a coherent evolution line and then I remembered how Baalmon was basically designed to connect Wizardmon with Beelzemon or how Gogmamon connects Golemon with Blastmon.
I think your picks in this video might be the most inspired yet, super great ideas especially with armadillo gato worm and patamon.

The love digimental got short changed in the show. I know fire was already taken, and they wanted each to have its own element, but the vibes of the crest of love didn't match the digimental of love AT ALL. So strange to me, still. But! You've done really interesting stuff with what they gave us. ALSO: holy eff does Parrotmon have holy rings?? I have never noticed that before! Hmmm, maybe Swanmon to Parrotmon to Valdurmon as a holy line for it?
For the knowledge armor video, i think it’s pretty obvious that Honeybeemon would digivolve either to Cannonbeemon and then Queenbeemon or to Vespamon and then Tigervespamon. Im a bit on the fence about which of the 2 would be more fitting since Cannonbeemon and Queenbeemon are both bees like Honeybeemon but on the other hand, Vespamon and Tigervespamon has more of that direct cool factor that Vmon evolutions tend to be.

I loved the lines for Swanmon and Owlmon. On the note of Swanmon in my Daipenmon rant video, I had penmon digivolve into swanmon then daipenmon and finally fros velgrmon. I looking for an ice-type bird and swanmon was my best bet. On the note of people thinking Digimon are dying, in Corey's latest video there was comment that Digimon was dying because there was no anime and they resorted to a web series.
Honestly you could turn the X antibody line of pipismon into something more "love" connected, with then growing more & stronger wings each evolution then at the end unearthing patamon's hidden angelic power into lucemon X insted of love going bad

Once again, this was fun.
On another note, something not really related to the video. And also, music is often related to emotion, especially love, so this could tie into elements of this video.
Given the music theme of Impmon's new evolution line on display in Digimon Liberator, I thought it would be appropriate to make a variation of a suggestion I made a few times before, it could fun to see a group of Mega level Digimon themed around music calling themselves some kind of band (I've been jokingly referring to this group as the "Power Band"). So, HeavyMetaldramon would fit in well as a member of this group, maybe even a founding member, and this Band theme could have them all having a playful antagonism with each other where they compete with each other to outdo each other's music could be fun to see among a team of mega level Digimon.
Amazing video as always Karn always look forward to your videos a lot and I love the lines you picked I will say I've always loved the idea of Sethmon becoming Sujinnmon the tusk becoming the cannon and the armor on Sethmon completely covering it and It kinda looks like they have similar body shapes which makes it work to me at least not to sure on the ultimate maybe Sagittarimon once again similar body and it fits with your idea of double armor egg fusion I'm a way I don't know love your videos by the

The Patamon line turning into Lucemon X at the end kind of makes sense if the Veemon line is Love turning to hate here it could be love turning to jealousy as in many interpretation of Christianity, Lucifer was God's favorite child/angel and Lucifer was jealous of humanity and that is why he tricked Eve in the bible.

Karn, X-Antibody Digimon used in these what if type of Digivolution lines are alright by me. In some cases, they might end up being the only option available to use.
Given the few times it's mentioned, a nice vid idea I figure you might like to do Karn is a vid where you go through each of the armour digimon DNA digivolving with other Armours and what those lines would be for each one. Similar to how this series was like.

To me, honestly, Pteramon has always looked a bit more like some sort of prevo for Zhuqiaomon. It's sort of the shapes of their bodies and the artwork from the reference book that drew that connection to me. Plus, an ancient dinosaur Digimon becoming a long-living Sovereign is a cool connection.
Digimon was is & always will be better than pokemon. I was born in 1992 and watched both at there peaks & I originally was mad on pokemon like every one else then I discovered digimon & I dropped pokemon like an old crisp packet and not one part of me regretted it 🤣 it was good when I was 8 & it's still good now I'm 32 💪

6:01 I always thought Pipismon made sense to a degree since Patamon’s ear wings look VERY bat like and Patamon is like a lil hamster guy, so a flying lil mammal becoming another flying lil mammal makes sense in my eyes. They look more similar when you see Pipismon with its mouth closed. It looks adorable

5:13 Shakkoumon evolving to vikingmon has some sense if you consider the theory about the power of imagination.
In the video mistérios e enigmas 17 e 18, basically, the idea is that when a digmon is doing a jogres/dna divolution he imagines what he wants to become.
Like Greymon of crosswars/Fusion, when he does the fusion, he really wants to become metalgreymon so he makes this the result of the fusion ,and the same goes for x-vmon wants to become imperialdramon, much so that he copies the helmet of Imperialdramon when he becomes a paildramon.
So Shakkoumon who is more intelligent, sees the good traits of Zudomon, and when both fuse, Shakkoumom becomes the base and can reach Zudomon full potential. When Zudomon is the base, he chooses a random aquatic Digimon.
Another Mega that could work for Swanmon is LovelyAngemon since she is a “Lovely Lady” with a heart theme in a way
I have never understand this Pokémon and Digimom comparisons I love and enjoy both franchises and for me they complement each other depending the type of player you are.

"Just because you're not paying attention doesn't mean this series doesn't have fans" is a really good way to contextualize how much people don't realize that they don't process what they don't think about. People think Digimon "fell off" because they personally got out of it and while the Pokemon Company gets to pour all their billions of dollars into the endless money cycle that is perpetuating their fandom, Bandai has a bunch of pans in the fire and Digimon is only one of them; many of those things tend to get left aside for a long stretch of time while other things demand their focus. Digimon just didn't get the absolute massive wave Pokemon got to ride on for decades, it swelled up alongside it and then kinda wavered off a bit. Unfortunately in the cutthroat world of corporations, falling to number 2 basically means you're invisible in the public eye because people only care about number 1.
I also fell out of Digimon before even 02 came out and decided I was a Pokemon guy after being a fan of both as a kid. I only got seriously back into Digimon recently thanks to my boyfriend, and it has gone from "oh yeah Digimon I used to like that a lot" to "oh my god, where have I been all this time, I have been neglecting the coolest shit in the world", especially _now_ that the Pokemon community is a _trash fire,_ I _hate_ even mentioned the word Pokemon on the Internet because your notifications get SWARMED with people talking about how _Pokemon_ fell off and how Gamefreak needs to be "held accountable" because the new games are SO BAD YOU GUYS LOOK AT THE SWSH TREE AGAIN REMEMBER THAT PICTURE HOW DID THIS GET PUBLISHED, Pokemon was only good when my parents were still together and I still had the whimsy of childhood left in my heart! It has been _exhausting_ to be a Pokemon fan in recent years and I'm honestly just done, and Digimon has just been such a breath of fresh air. Everything it does is so unique and different not just from anything else, but from _itself._ Every series and every game feels like something totally new, and I feel like there's still so much left to explore that I just haven't been paying attention to for so long. It's wonderful! And I'm sorry, i don't want to turn this into a "lmao Digimon is better than Pokemon" rant because I _hate_ those two series being compared, the only reason they are is because in the West it was adopted to _be_ a challenger to Pokemon because the American dubbers literally just didn't notice it's a _completely_ different show with a _completely_ different tone, and now you get people judging Digimon by how well it measures up to Pokemon when it's like comparing Sailor Moon to DBZ, they're _just fucking different._
Also are we seriously still banging the "Pokemon is the original Digimon is a copy" drum that I was disproving _in elementary school?_ Even as a _kid_ I knew Digimon vpets showed up in America long before the Pokemon games ever did, you can literally just look that information up and realize you're wrong. Please change and grow as a person.

I actually don't mind Myotismon X. I'm not into the idea of a random X in the middle of an evolution line, but sticking to it for the mega works really well imo

I could see GrandDracumon being the mega for Sethmon, but I don't have a good idea what would go between them.
Not sure what the talking point specifically would be, but it would be cool if you made a video about the Tyrannomon line.
I think the only one I'd disagree with would be Aegisdramon since it seems to fit so much more as a Submarimon Mega for an expanded Reliability armor evo line.

I like some of these I like Veemon to Sethmon to Dorugreymon to dorugoramon Hawkmon to Halsamon to Sinduramon to Zhelqaomon Gatomon to Swannmon to Sirenmon to Venusmon since Venus was the Roman goddess of Love so fits Wormmon to Owl mon to Parretmon but I have it digivolve into Eaglemon Armadillomon to Pteramon to Cargodramon to Aegisdramon and finally for Patamon I have him digivolve to Pipismon to Reapmon like how the one from Fusion/ Xcross wars Who trained to become an Angel and then have him digivolve to either BlackSeraphimon or Dominimon were he finally achieved his goal to become one.

I never got how gatomon could loose its tail ring and not either turn back into Salomon or turn into a black gatomon since its whole deal is it’s a gatomon who LOST its tail ring! It says so in its description
I would have aegisdramon as the reliability Armor instead of the love armour as it keeps the plesiomon connection with the reliability armor and crest.
But 100% all for the patamon love line having the bat to vampire then redeemed angel.
