Hell yeah bro! I'm surprised China hasn't been pumping the fentanyl /w xylitol a big cat and elephant tranquilizer into Fiji like Mexico to kill Americans because of the addiction crisis here in the states. Not sure if you have been to Kensington, Pennsylvania in the US. The police are at the point where they just let people shoot up in front of them and do nothing. It's sad. 190,000 dead last year. Very dangerous place.
Sick videos bro! From the US here. Have been subbed for a long time but don't comment much. Wishing you luck in your travels. You are in my opinion the best travel RUclipsr showing the real life of the poverty striken areas. One Love!🤙🏼

Got to hand it to you spanios. You are covering important and sensitive topics and issues that most journalists shy away from. I take my hat off to you. Thanks, mate.
Brah, this was unreal cuz. As someone who is born and raised in the island of O’ahu, Hawai’i I can tell you the ice epidemic slammed us hard, we call it “Batu”. I grew up during the 80’s and 90’s when the only thing we had was Pakalolo, (Weed). Yeah sure we had coke, and other party drugs, but when Ice came around the early 90’s, shit started changing quick, the crimes arose, violent crimes got worse, break ins, robberies were full on. Within 10 years I saw places I use to hang out become havens for druggies and just dangerous people. As a Kanaka Oiwi (Hawaiian), it hurts to see my Fijian cousins across the sea have to deal with this shit, some of my good friends I grew up surfing with and hung out with are Fijian and they are some of the nicest genuine people, in their language, culture and rich heritage. I hope and prayer is that a solution comes in some way. Our government sucks just the same, sure we have rehab programs, but it could be better, the tourism authorities are all in denial because these islands are their cash cow, so any kind of negative publicity is met with either outright lies, and sometimes dumb deniability, so that the palm tree, white sandy beach image of Hawai’i is still kept in a clean picture to the world. Seeing my own people succumb to this crap hurts as well, I knew good people who had their whole lives ahead of them destroyed in a matter of months. Awesome Span, as always my braddah, I hope and pray you can come to O’ahu someday, I’d love to show you around and see beyond the postcard travel guide image. Ke aloha nui palala (much love always braddah). 46:46 yes sir it is! 🤙🏼
I was going to mention tourism could be a saving grace for the island in the future after some other addressing of the root causes, but you’re right that if done incorrectly it would just be a way for large companies to exploit the island and rather than helping the issue they would sweep it under the rug and pay police to keep it way from their resorts or whatever. Corruption and greed are so widespread it breaks my heart, the island seems to have so much natural beauty and I could definitely see people spending good money to experience it 🤙

Spanios! I'm so glad you guys made a video on Fiji's situation, people don't realize Fiji has 2 sides. It's not just resorts and all you can eat buffets. My partner and I stayed in Sigatoka last year, spent a few days driving around Suva - Sigatoka - Nadi. The extreme poverty in Suva is something ill never forget. We walked around that bus stop in the last clip you played, within 20mins we were followed into a store by some sketchy couple, we saw another man put his hands into a ladies handbag right in front of us! (My missus kicked him and he fked off). We warned the lady and she zipped her bag up. It seems like that's the only defense for the people of Fiji, zip your bag up close your door lock your things, because the government is doing fuck all.
You've come at Perfect time as everything happens for a Reason and your it...if you came to you tube 7 years ago you wouldn't of been able to make this video you will bring more stories to light....this we are now all certain about...amazing work Spanian ❤️
Spanian you are a blessing to these Fijian people who invited you to talk about this problem on social media that is happening. We all hope that this RUclips video gets the message across the powers that be in Fiji.🙏❤️💛🌻🙏
You da rock mate..Keep uploading it for our future generations, Fiji govt needs to wake up and seriously do something about, before my home country fades away. I'm a Fijian living in Sydney, It breaks my heart to see innocent lives wasted because of poor poverty, and Fiji govt is bloody doing nothing about it or dealt with the situations.
This was my first exposure to your work brother. Really good stuff. I live in Honolulu and I'm aware of just how ignorant the wider world is to what really goes on out here in the islands. The general idea that reigns supreme in the minds of outsiders is one of surf and sand and pretty girls. That's not entirely incorrect but it is definitely only part of the story. I myself am coming up on 3 years heroin free. I used to live on the streets of Chinatown and Waikiki and I've seen (and done) things that most people only see in movies. I've spent all to much time incarcerated as well. I am now married to a beautiful Chuukese woman and I am vetted and cleared to work security at our international airport as well as retail and residential security which is wild. The man I was 3 years ago couldn't be trusted to secure a toilet without stealing the paper but I am proof that with Gods help anything is possible. Keep fighting the good fight brother. All my love and respect. Aloha
Wow brother, you brought to light something no one would have expected, that beautiful Fiji had a serious meth problem. Lets hope through ur video that someone in the Oz and NZ govt will see this and put pressure on the Fijian govt. the fijian ppl deserve better.
Another amazing informative vlog, Spanian! I love your honesty and approach to other humans and their problems. Considering you've had no training, you are fast becoming one of the best investigative journalists on RUclips. I have a similar background to you, addiction, multiple times in prison, etc so I relate to your inquisitiveness about others in society who haven't had it as easy and have fell through the cracks in the system. Keep up the good work bro, you deserve all the rewards you reap from this cuz!
Thank you for showing this side of Fiji. As a kid growing up in Fiji and looking from abroad this is the new Fiji now. It’s crazy to think how much it’s changed
Sleep deprivation causes delirium.. and if you’ve ever experienced genuine delirium you know how dam scary it is.. you’ll do shit you can’t even comprehend.. that’s what ice can do
@@kpatty9987 I’ve had both.. delirium from scopolamine was fucking terrifying.. ice psychosis your at least a little more in control.. that was my experience anyway.. but the longer you stay awake the less in control you become for sure.. i think it’s the actually body cravings for meth that makes it a little different experience..
What a sad story of reality appreciate you showing the rest of the world what the Fijian people are suffering with. It truly saddened me to know that their own government doesn't even want to help rehabilitate them but just lock them up how corrupt can it get. Thanks spanian for bringing a light on another country who needs a light shined on it so people pay attention to it and might offer a helping solution to the problem for the future generations of Fijian kids ❤❤

TY 4 highlighting this. Editing should have been better to keep the identity of interviewees safe. Fiji does need rehabs and trained front liners to address the issue, awareness, support for the youth, mental health support, intervention and diversionary initiatives but ultimately to address the symptoms… so much to be done. God bless Fiji 🇫🇯
As much as i’m glad you visited Fiji, you promised to blur and hide their identities, at 30:53, you can see his face!! You might have forgotten, but for Fijians, this is their life and it’s scary what could happen 😭
Thanks Spanian my brother....I've been following yous from the start and I'm living in Fiji...and I thank you for coming to Fiji and exposing the issue we are facing here in the Islands...Jah Bless brada ❤ Vinaka
I worked and lived in Fiji for only six months back in 2017. I uncovered corruption within the first week of being there, which resulted in threats of violence against me. My issues were very basic when compared to the widespread, multi level corruption that must exist in the horrific drug trade. The scourge of drugs is going to ruin this beautiful land and its people. Maybe it’s already too late?
I just discovered you, and your past story is quite interesting. Well done I'm proud of you and your achievements. I'm a 🇩🇲 Dominican watching in the 🇬🇧 UK.

I’m from Fiji and live in Australia, watching this is really eye opening to what’s going on back home. Thank you 🙏
Love ya Span. Always looks forward to your videos ❤
Hey Spanian, I'm a Fijian too. This video means a lot, thank you for bringing awareness to this g. God bless
Dudes really grown as a youtuber. Keeps you engaged the entire video, makes decent top quality content.
Thank you spanian for this video… for bringing to light what needs to be brought to light… I miss my country the way it used to be😢
Big ups to you for shining light on this topic. Love from 🇫🇯
You da rock mate..Keep uploading it for our future generations, Fiji govt needs to wake up and seriously do something about, before my home country fades away.
Aloha
Crazy story bro very inspiring 🙏
Wow brother, you brought to light something no one would have expected, that beautiful Fiji had a serious meth problem. Lets hope through ur video that someone in the Oz and NZ govt will see this and put pressure on the Fijian govt. the fijian ppl deserve better.
Insightful, raw and powerful. Good on you for running it straight at tough issues. A far cry from the holiday destination we see here in NZ.
Thank you King! What a podcast.
You are the man Spanian..simply excellent..your the change this world needs! Love the channel ..love the content..from Queensland Australia 💯💯🎯
Couldn't wait for this. Soon as I saw you filming on a rainy night on suva bus stand I knew. This is going to be great 😂
I wished he covered Suva neighbourhoods and housings 😭
True @@Hustler-mv3he
Spanian! Your narration has gotten so much better mate. True story teller!!
Thank you for showing this side of Fiji. As a kid growing up in Fiji and looking from abroad this is the new Fiji now. It’s crazy to think how much it’s changed
Sleep deprivation causes delirium.. and if you’ve ever experienced genuine delirium you know how dam scary it is.. you’ll do shit you can’t even comprehend.. that’s what ice can do
I think the drug attracts all kinds of people, my theory is that if you're already kinda unhinged, the drug exasperates that.
You start seeing the shadow people.
The wild thing about Ice delirium/psychosis is you remember it all. Normal delirium people don't remember but it's different with meth.
@ and then you become the shadow 😂😂
What a sad story of reality appreciate you showing the rest of the world what the Fijian people are suffering with.
It truly saddened me to know that their own government doesn't even want to help rehabilitate them but just lock them up how corrupt can it get.
Thanks spanian for bringing a light on another country who needs a light shined on it so people pay attention to it and might offer a helping solution to the problem for the future generations of Fijian kids ❤❤
I’m from Fiji but my mom has family still there. The past five years my mom would tell me how bad the drug situation has been getting there. Sad to see and I hope that beautiful country and people get help and overcome this drug addiction.
Thank You for highlighting the massive drug and hiv problems in Fiji. The crisis really needs to be stymied asap.
Spanian, bro, u are a good-hearted unit. You are where u are to help make a change for the better. Good on you, legend. 🤙🏼
if this bruva dont get an award or some sort of recognition for his journalistic endeavours im boycotting youtube!,much respect bruva Spanian. Uve exelled above and beyond with your content. Thankyou
😂😂🤡 🤡
bro i miss ur old intro that intro was so savage and when i saw ur first video that first few words hooked me up to stay and watch the rest of the video.
Lessss ogeeeee! nothing better than another episode on Sunday.
You're growing bro, and learning, and teaching. You're being a good human. Heading for the championship.
Brother you put yourself out on the Chopping block there for that story. Thankyou for your BraveHeart stay safe my bro ❤️🔥👊
Yeah I hope those island pay for it they are going to expect New Zealand amd Australia to give them money
Getting home from work to see a Spanian has been uploaded, absolutely beautiful
Yeah ? Where do you work mate ?
Sausage wallet
@JohnRotten-g6t watch it buddy you're speaking to a state gronk handler
what an eye opener thanks Spanian for your journalism of this
Beautiful Fiji needs someone like you to raise the awareness on drugs. I can imagine the future generations getting hooked on to this lethal drugs.
11:26-30:52 editor fucked up didnt even Blur the guy in the backseat 😅 ps if you want a better editor im available and from Melbourne
W advertisement
the P plate and rego sticker plus honda wheel etc are a give away to them too.
Their voices don’t sound very edited either.
Tats showing
Exposed their faces, voices and their positions in the community 😂
As much as i’m glad you visited Fiji, you promised to blur and hide their identities, at 30:53, you can see his face!! You might have forgotten, but for Fijians, this is their life and it’s scary what could happen 😭
Yea facts brother gonna get dragged
yeah there’s a few times in the vid where the dude in the black and yellow’s face is visible
😂@@roberthill3145
That's hilarious
You can see his tattoo's. why hide his face lol.
Good video , congrats mate , you are a journalist, keep doing what you’re doing . 🤙🏼
Thanks Spanian my brother....I've been following yous from the start and I'm living in Fiji...and I thank you for coming to Fiji and exposing the issue we are facing here in the Islands...Jah Bless brada ❤
Vinaka
Awesome man, over 10K views less than an hour, you are a legend bro
3 hours and over 50k views. Lad deserves everyone of them
@@Browndogdiesel 💯 absolutely mate, the man is a legend
I worked and lived in Fiji for only six months back in 2017. I uncovered corruption within the first week of being there, which resulted in threats of violence against me. My issues were very basic when compared to the widespread, multi level corruption that must exist in the horrific drug trade. The scourge of drugs is going to ruin this beautiful land and its people. Maybe it’s already too late?
I was there around 12 years ago. Worked there as a skilled foreigner. Had a cop try and bribe me when he pulled me over for allegedly speeding.
This happens everyday all over the world even in Australia @adrianmotet5083
Feelin the same bro❤
Awsome work Spanian 🙏🔥🔥🌎✝️making a difference ✌️turn darkness into light 🙏
Wow. Your waking up alot of people with this type of content. I went there 20 years ago and Fiji was beautiful and never had any drug problems. So sad
I just discovered you, and your past story is quite interesting. Well done I'm proud of you and your achievements. I'm a 🇩🇲 Dominican watching in the 🇬🇧 UK.
I work in mental health and have seen good people get wrecked by ice. I have a sneaking feeling that ice is being used to weaken Australia and other countries too for the gain of other nations... blessings blessings
Same way CIA flooded usa streets with crack and powder
Work in ? Don’t you mean you’re a rehab addict 😂😂😂
Yep!!! It’s absolutely a strategic move
@JohnRotten-g6t stupid comment
You got a PhD in talking BS@@JohnRotten-g6t
American Samoa also been having an ice epidemic but it's not as bad as Fiji. It breaks my heart that some of our pasefika people have lost their way. God be with us all 😓
Yo bro, As a Fijian I respect that u blurred and changed the voices but u didn’t blur the vehicle registration, so now if anyone wanted to do something to these people who spoke up about the issue can find these people, so please next time also blur the car license plat 🙏🏼
Dayum, thank you bruv, sending support from Texas .
You are an
absolute legend!
No one helped you in your life u had it tough 😢yet
u didn't become bitter... You instead cover real topics and bring awareness to help other victims....legend! God bless u... This world is lucky to have you in it
Spanian you not only educate us but you bring very important awareness to this horrible epidemic around the world. I pray the ones responsible get punished for it and I hope the country starts rehab for those young people using it. 😢
You are legit an inspiration brother. I'd love to see you cover some New Zealand content one day.
In one of he's short clips he stated nz and another couple of country he won't be going to cause they are that strict on there no criminal policy's brother
But hope someone helps you guys across the ditch h3lp

Spanian,Tommy G, and Timmy Karter are the best boots on the ground channels. No BS. They just show it how it is 💪
Peter Santenello
Tommy G getting too repetitive nowadays, most videos seem almost the same as older ones so lost interest
very interesting. thank you and all the brave locals for telling their story.
i love it when people tell their truth.
Good on you for sharing these stories Spanyos. Hopefully this video can help bring light to the problem and help make a change
Cool! The background you gave was quite enlightening, glad you have recovered!
