Lovely ideas i'm sure you just have to find something that fits your budget. Lots of edging available at the bargain stores , plastic is fairly robust, bricks are fairly cheap and can be painted to a colour to suit.
These are very nice gardens and trimmings. But I’m sure that the most of these were certainly not cheap, and I’m sure they were done by pros. I love to garden and have lots of flowers and plants. But on my best day in my best year, I can’t do this trimming and make those sharp edges, nor can I stack the soil in a huge slant (without lots of help or machinery!)

Yes, what everybody else said...not cheap. Furthermore, the wooden edging would last one, maybe two, seasons here in Missouri and then have to be completely redone. The railroad ties will hold up much longer, but again not cheap, unless you are edging a very small space. I've never tried bamboo. Anyone out there know how that holds up? Skinny little things would take tons of bamboo and lots of time to cover much footage.
A lot of the edging is very labor intensive and kind of over the top but interesting video nevertheless. Most of the projects are professionally landscaped. The plates and what looked like bottles lined up blew me away, lol.
A whole host of great ideas here, some very imaginative ones too. Height would be an issue for me, and some of them are very impractical. Overall tho, still an excellent video, and well put together. Thankyou :)
For my money, the make or break of an edging idea is not how good it looks when its newly installed. Good ideas do not create more problems than they solve. The function of an edge is enforce separation between disparate features. A perfect edging can be unobtrusive and not a feature in itself. The less I have to maintain the edging to maintain appearances, the better. Some of those pictured look like far too much upkeep.
Didn't see a plain straight 150mm deep vertical spade edge - which costs nothing but a bit of hard work to make - and looks a lot better than 99% of these which have NFI
