This clearly shows that 8 or 16 bit is not a good indication of graphics quality. The msx2 is from 1985 8 bit system and snes from 1990 16 bit system.

Yeah, map the keys to the controller.

No, press ESC during the game to set controls. It works fine with Joymega by default, or 2 button MSX joystick (though it's harder to pull off the spin attack)
