Awesome video, no intro, and no wasteful video, right to the point, Thank you for a very helpful Diy, now time to take my starter out.

Starter change was one speed thanks to you. I was worried about the whistling when starting but noticed yours did the same. Guess its a new starter sound 🤷‍♂️ also i did it without removing all the extra stuff just laid underneath and everything was easily accessible. 🤙

Looks good! Probably should reconnect the battery and try turning it over to see if it works before putting the wheel back on.

    Thank you for this.
    My job went smoothly.
Starts fine with the new starter.
    Done on a 2018 suburban.

I have the same truck you don’t have to take the wheel off or the inner plastic mud guard, everything can be done from the bottom! The first time took about an hour after that about 20 min

If you’re not someone who normally works on a vehicle like me, and you got lost on step 4 well he is underneath the truck in the center right next to the oil filter.

My first thought was, if you're jacking it up, you need a bigger lift! Good video Brother.

Doing this job on jack stands would it be easier doing underneath the truck or on side of the truck?

I don't know why I didn't think to remove the wheel well liner. That makes it so much easier to get to the plug. Thanks!

How you know the starter is bad. Mine does not start but don’t. Know if it’s the starter. Already check battery fuses relay and grounding cables

Yes Chevy is gm. Sierra has a slight body differential design but everything under the hood is exactly the same as the Chevy model of the same year as the gm model
