  • This is probably the easiest, and my favourite method to making plates. Using a piece of PVC pipe or something similar, you can throw pottery plates on the potter's wheel easily, efficiently and consistently.
    This is a pottery hack, but one that could make your life easier if you want to make a set of plates and have them look as close to the same size and thickness as possible.

    WOW! Just WOW! This will be something I’ll definitely be trying. If it works for me, I might actually get a decent plate made. It’s one piece I struggle to make.
