Wow I am in awe of your knowledge. Thanks for sharing it . So very interesting and makes decorating more fun as we can actually have some knowledge of our inherited and antique furnishings. I love your channel and adore you and your home. Would love to meet you one day. Love to you, Daniel and your family. How blessed they are to have you.

I have 2 Rococo stories. I bought a teapot with the lid taped shut. I bought it for $14.00 and tax. After I bought the teapot I showed the note inside. It was a wedding gift in. The second story is taking a 5 and 6 year old pair of brothers on the bus and to a museum in New Orleans. We saw furniture, silver serving pieces, and the children saw bowls of large silver tureens. The 5 year old said, "King Louis" sure had a lot of trophies! They called them trophies!!!

THANK YOU. I loved this video, it taught me things I had forgotten but took 100 years ago in university, and things I just never knew. Very interesting.

@@cynthiagreen6927 I was born in Dallas, but moved to Odessa when I was young (Permian HS). Both sets of grandparents lived in Dallas, so I was there often. One lived near Oak Lawn and Turtle Creek, the other near Hillcrest HS. I went to SMU and lived in Dallas and Richardson until my late 20s. My husband went to JJ Pierce HS. My parents both went to Highland Park HS. My great grandparents lived on Gaston Ave. at the turn of the century. My peach picture in the dining room has a 1900 Dallas Morning News in it. You can see it in "Making a Small Space Feel Bigger."
