In Ck2 if you invite a random drunk with over 10 intrigue somehow he rats the plot out to your liege instantly giving the horrible -20 opinion modifier
I always marry my daughters matrilineally to the grandsons of Kings if their father doesn't hold a title. Since they aren't direct heirs to any land they just accept. And in 3 generations you have a dynasty member on a new throne and you didn't even have to shed a single drop of blood.
@duncanharrell5009 It helps if you choose dynasty bonuses that boost marriage acceptance, and/or bribe/befriend the person who's accepting/rejecting the proposal. Offering to host a grand wedding helps as well
0:53 The average height in the Roman empire for a male was 170 cm (5ft 7). So it's true that people used to be shorter in the old times, but not by a lot.
I also had the Pope give himself a claim to my empire, was blindsided because he was +100 and then dropped to -5 after he gave himself a claim to my shit
The India meme is very true. When i played there and started tall and united it all later, I ended up with like 200k troops right after unlocking late medival and had elephants that did like 1100 dmg. It was acually insane. I also took land directly from the Mongols and just concered the whole of byzantium because flex.
9:35 You laugh, but if you're in the Hermetics, you can have an experimental flintlock pistol as early as game start. It stomps duels. Who needs Satanism, I have a blackpowder smoothbore!
There is a province in India with 7 holding slots 6 of which are farmlands. I had a campaign where i had a monthly income of over 100 with just that provence.
I remember one game I was trying to restore the Roman Empire and I married my daughter matrilineally into the Byzantine Empire. One generation later I could just claim the whole empire cuz the emperor was of my house
6:50 Every time i get disscover i just think. "Do i go back in time before i get disscovered?" Because it is SO frustrating. I just hate when that happens. And it is worst because i just make this 3 or 4 deaths before to get the person i want in the throne and then just in the last step i get this huge obstacle of nowhere and my plans gets obliterated.
I played a Roman cannibal astaru king in the place of the Holy Roman Empire and the pope declared a holy war on me. 72000 troops of 42 nations vs 7000 of my own troops. I somehow won with them ending up at 4000 troops and me at 10,000. From that moment I declared I shall eat the pope. From that moment onwards I invaded all of Italy and preceded to crush the Papancy and the surrounding kingdoms and eat EVERY SINGLE person I took prisoner except the very high ranking women who I made my concubines as punishment for standing against me. I succeeded in my venture, the pope is eaten with at least 100-200 other people I think, including little babies.
"100 years in debt" isn't the duration wealth has been negative but the time to climb out via kingdom income. Bad times. But that DOES mean there's a few ways to climb out quicker.
I remember my disastrous ck2 agot game as tywin lannister. Died of natural causes 4 days in, had to play as tyrion. Cool. Old man hoster tully decided to get caught sleeping with cersei. Push came to shove and war broke out against the riverlands, the main riverland army got crushed by chad eddard stark. A tiny piece that didnt get to join the main army got crushed by my force but i didnt realise tyrion had decided to lead the army himself. Despite it being something like 350 men against 25,000 (cant remember) tyrion still managed to get into a duel with an enemy knight where, due to being a dwarf, he got cut down. Luckily jaime lannister got arrested for sleeping with cersei, booting him from the kings guard so i got to play as prison jaime, whose shit at governing so i had a rebellion in about 2 years. Managed to win through heavy debt and got released from prison to rule properly, thought it'd be funny to get betrothed to dany despite her fucking hating me for killing her dad. Spent years trying to fix the damage to my lands and forgot about the betrothal so when she came of age, we married and robert declared war on me if i didnt hand my new wife over. I reckon i found just about every rake i could step on.
In ck3 if you play on console you can't actually hybridise cultures and if you look at another kingdoms culture you have to first press A which will send you to some random culture like Mongol or something then and only then can you exit the culture screen by pressing B
I had a save game that lasted basically minutes. Started as Zeeland, fellow vassal rebels for independence, I join him and I'm singlehandedly winning the war, sieging all the holdings, winning all the battles... and then my fellow vassal somehow gets himself captured, war score goes from like +76% to -100% in an instant and I am immediately imprisoned and my title is revoked. I must've sat there in stunned silence for a minute or so, just trying to work out what happened.
It doesn’t though. So long as you’re over your domain limit you can give counties freely. So don’t give away any counties you can hold from your stewardship.
I feel that vikings one. I remember in ck2 playing as Mali and suddenly i had a group of viking show up and plunder all my counties, their boats parked up by spain
Yeah i did a gsme as an Aquitaine house ended up overthrowing thr king after beating him deposing him thrn hum getting back into power on thr third tume i married him killed his two oldest kings he died if a hesrt attack then usurpeed his son after she died her sadistic son murdered every noble who rebelled i ended up giving the duchy of burgundy away 5 times because every time they would rebel fun times
How do you get rid of the French? Well, you see, the Mongols created this really nifty thing by accident. It's called the black death. So if you can manage to create that early, you might be able to come close.😂
7:40 i don't get why you would revoke their title, just leave them in prison and revoke only those who are too powerful and keep annoying you and then you hand the duchy and kingdom titles to the weakest vassals so they are too weak to ever rebell against you i only have to maybe fight a minor rebellion every 20-40 years this way
everyone tell my girlfriend Autumn who also edited this video HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🥰💞 (and that she did a fantastic job editing this too ofc!!!)
Wait what? I mean, it's my birthday today. So happy birthday us.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUTUMN!
Happy Birthday Autumn! 🎉
HHPYY VBRITHDAAYYY Y:DDDD :333

if you end the plot before you click the event your leige doesn't find out lol

Great way to get the Dynasty of Many Crowns decision and achievement if you don't wanna go around conquering and releasing 9 other kingdoms.
Yup
… WHY DID I NEVER THINK OF THIS!?
Then again, I can never get anyone to marry my daughters matrilineally.
@duncanharrell5009 It helps if you choose dynasty bonuses that boost marriage acceptance, and/or bribe/befriend the person who's accepting/rejecting the proposal. Offering to host a grand wedding helps as well
Your girls never menstruated?

I have gotta do that myself, the only question is how?
India is bigger than Western Europe.
People underestimate the achievement of going full Ahsoka.

Fun fact: the fighter jet one is actually based on a Stellaris loading screen for their first contact dlc.
ambitious doesnt give you stress when you give out duchys or countys whilst being over your domain limit
Yeah, it used to always give stress but they changed that a few months after the game came out.
Yeah i was wondering what she was talking about, ambitious is an incredible trait to have, especially if you rp your character.
Greedy does give you stress when giving away land or gold, though

What is said County's name and which Crusader Kings game is it in?
@@thelemonofgaming6303 I can't remember what it's called but it is in ck3 and it's the one on the mainland side of the crossing to sri lanka
In 867 I think you're talking about the Pandya Raj, one of my favourite places in India. Thanks mate.@@andrewgreenwood9068
Lore accurate india

Man, that sounds like season 7&8 writing 😅
Hoster Tully and Cersei?! Dang, and I thought burning her own city was scary!
It's not just your first born that is invariably terrible, for male dominated cultures it's all male children, while your daughters are incredible.
I once murdered my soulmate as the Roman Emperor...
I can't remember why.
Using incognito mode to browse reddit was a very good idea 😂
Happy birthday 🎉 you did a great job. Have a wonderful birthday

pretty sure the greedy/ambitious trait only gives you stress if you give away land when you're at/below your holdings cap
Weird feeling of randomly getting this video on my RUclips recommendations and see HeyCara commenting on a Reddit comment I made about a year ago.
The "I took him [assassin] out" person should have drawn the assassin's dead legs coming out from the curtains.

5:40 you cant claim kingdoms or empires as an emperor. What you can do is claim every duchy in the realm and declare for all of it
"This is just me" to Bocci, who canonically kinda wants to be a professional gamer with a gamer girlfriend, is shockingly accurate, actually.
Happy birthday Autumn!^_^ And fantacular editing too:)
Happy birthday season-before-winter! (Thats her Argonian roleplay name)
I YELL any time i get a character with Ambitious, Greedy or Shy. Stress is so unmanageable sometimes lmaoooooooooooo
This is my preferred way to read r/crusaderkings. Happy Birthday, Autumn!!!
Happy birthday, Autumn! If you love Cara, we love you!
Restored the Roman Empire last night, and two popes have given themselves claims on my empire in the 4 years since 🤣
I built my riches and got more than 30,000 gold as one character over several centuries building my German Proto-Rome
I'm surprised you don't have more Sims videos with the amount of these that were just weird bugs/interactions
The ambitious stress gain is bad because if you can’t make new vassals then it kind of just halts your conquests.
It doesn’t though. So long as you’re over your domain limit you can give counties freely. So don’t give away any counties you can hold from your stewardship.
the 5% in the scheme chance did a critical damage
Happy belated birthday, Autumn!!! 🎉🎉
I feel that vikings one. I remember in ck2 playing as Mali and suddenly i had a group of viking show up and plunder all my counties, their boats parked up by spain
i feel like people just have a terrible grasp of how probability works.
15:06 GOD DAMN IT NEF ANYO, now you're in other games too!
Did you know that you can use ctrl + tab and ctrl + shift + tab to navigate between tabs in your browser
10:11 i'm dissapointed, that place should said "Marrying simply because she is your sister-daughter"
That kid was just Popemaxxing
20:17 well of course they didn't do much with it... yet, i already took out a lone for the day they release the Roman DLC for 50$
Happy Birthday Autumn
you can shift right click on a notification to mark all of them as read
So... is there a continuation of Mother of us All Achievement thing.
To be honest, crusades going to baltics and losing is realistic, teutonics tried it for 200 years and still lost
I swear i cannot play without designate heir mod (except im on the quest for some achievements) 😂
I hate how true the thumbnail is 😅
Cara, I'm loving the Minecraft Steve shirt!
10:34 thats actually what i do when poligamius
Happy Birthday Autumn!
Happy birthday autumn !!!
Whats your plan for the mega campaign?
Happy birthday Atomm
Happy birthday Autum!
I’m a bit late, but there was a crusade against the Baltics. Go Denmark.
11:59 What's with the glowing cat?
Haestinn is everywhere and im glad

I’m a year late but ALSO a month earlier, sooooo happy birthday autumn lol
To be fair, crusader armies not helping each other did happen during the first crusade. Its not that inaccurate lmao
I don’t know who thought that it was a good idea to make an atheist into the pope
Yes! This is the content i crave! CK3 Memes!
10:35 look who's there hehe
11:28 IS THAT MATT DILLAHUNTY

Happy Bday for 🍂
happy birtday!!!1
I don't get the losing crusades thing, very rarely do the crusades fail for me. My last run I had 3 Dynasty members form Crusader States.
Fun video
