    I'm getting great results with tapchanger lite with 2 tools, just waiting to build more tools. However I did have to modify the dock design for more reliable docking.

      Cool! What did you improve?
      Would be great if you can share it.

    You would probably have less flex with a carbon or glass-filled filament. For example, I have some of the Phaetus ABS-GF and it's very stiff (the filament is quite brittle, and easy to snap).

      Yes, CF-abs is def an option.
      I have aluminum SLS printed shuttle on order, will test if that helps first.

    1:00 this is the reason I have neither tapchanger nor tap lol, I'm cooking up some very weird design that would suit my special use case

    have you considered using a CF-PC instead of the ABS?

    I get almost no flex using a carbon tap from fysetc. Its...really nice, i also printed the whole head pretty much from abslike resin though...

    Does the Tapchanger still have the gantry leveling capability of Voron Tap?

      That‘s incredible!

      @viesturz  Год назад +1

      Yes. If you want you can just use it as tap replacement, without the tool changer part.

      @@viesturz brilliant solution!
      But I‘d want both functionalities!
      How much height does the Tapchanger add to the construction, without reducing the build volume? 🤔

      @viesturz  Год назад +1

      @@andrepavatoniyou probably want something like 150 mm extra height to not loose any space. There is someone building a version up and down in the discord. Def an area of development.

      @@Pasha4urThanks, ordering some 4010s, dragon looks cool. In the meantime there is adapter for mini stealthburner as well.
