What's really impressive about the lyrics is the first line ends with "hurry," so the easiest most obvious rhyme would be "worry," but instead they go with "temporary." That suggests a lyrical intelligence. The harmonization between the two in front would be enough by itself. If they also weren't playing their own instruments. Never mind the fact that the guy in back is both playing drums and keyboards at the same time, which is crazy. The three of them sound like a seven-piece band. I have a feeling they've done their share of crying already while shaping this song.
That performance should've gotten a golden buzzer. Not only the emotional side of things but it was just raw talent that was the delivery for such a beautiful and touching music #Musicforthesoul

Thanks for your heartfelt reaction 💞 I also lost my mother prematurely due to cancer and I think they have managed to capture what any parent feels when they knows that they has to leave before time, leaving besides the logical sadness, another added feeling of total helplessness especially in offsprings. As I have suffered the same as them, and since I couldn't understand the lyrics well, I went to the original video looking if someone had posted them. in the judge's comments section ( is the reason why I have to see a "taste" of acts first with the AGT youtube channel in order to support them but I always make time to see the "full video" with the "kind of official" talent recap channel who puts judge's voting , I wish AGT channel would put the whole thing and not just the act ) Mel B was crying as it her home as her father died just last year ( and I guess also Simon who almost cried as his mom died 3 years ago ), she asked for a 2 minutes break afterwards

Great people here folks , i can only say ,they made me feel , deeply , and anyone who has lost loved ones, due to cancer or a sickness , I have not . But my ex wife lost her mother when she was 11 ,one never really gets to understand unless they watch someone die slowly Like Evie Clair from last year . Petra you missed the reaction from Mel B. Her father passed away from cancer a little over a year ago and she said she felt like the song was meant just for her and her father was singing it to her. I imagine it touched everyone who has lost a parent to cancer or any disease in a similar way. They have a music video on RUclips they made for this song and they performed the whole thing on AGT. It is only about 2.5 minutes long. Strong lyrics, simple direct message and no embellishments because none were needed.

Although their mother passed on about a couple years ago, they may not have written the song that long ago. Maybe they did, but they just haven't figured out how to get signed. Maybe AGT is the venue they wanted to use to possibly end up getting signed. This is just three possibilities, maybe none of these are accurate. Even if they don't win, if they get close enough to winning then they could possibly still get signed.
