I've been her carer for years. Sadly, I came down mother's Day morning with her presents to see her on the floor. She passed away in the middle of the night with her heart. Honestly, I didn't think I could get through it. But I did. It's only been six weeks but I've gotten through it. I don't usually read the comments but something told me to and then I saw your comments on anxiety losing your parents. I feel I was meant to read it and write this advice to you: I know it's a terrifying thought- but know that unfortunately it is going to happen some day. However, that's another day- you only have this moment, this day with them. Do everything you've ever wanted to do with them, tell them how much you love them, hug them, kiss them. Of course you're going to fight, but never go to bed on bad terms. Live in this moment, right here right now and stop worrying about the future... Because it will come no matter how much worrying you do.
Wow, now that is one special special song. I had cancer over 2 years ago. My three kids, Helen, Mary-Jane and Ronnie looked after me so well. I'm so very proud of them and am blessed to be spared to be around for a bit longer. My Mum passed away last year, she had 10 of us and was a real darling of a Mum. My grandfather recently passed, he had neoplasm of the brain, after surgeries and nights staying with him, hospice at home and holding his hand till the end, watching him take his last breath, every time I hear this song I cry hearing his voice "Im so proud of you, and brag so much about you". While I don’t have anyone in my family who has cancer or has passed away from anything I do still relate to this song in a way. Someone from my school was in the pool over summer and drowned. She passed before she was able to get to the hospital and one of my biggest regrets is not talking to her because now I can’t. This was a beautiful song that DEFINITELY deserved the golden buzzer.

this song is saved in my phone, it reminds me of my mom. almost 2 years ago i lost her. im almost 16 i lost her when i just turned 15 a few months after my birthday. she had type one diabetes. she lost her ability to walk 3 years before she died we did everything for her. the older brother part means alot because my brother was her best friend now he has to help take care of me. im blessed to have him and my dad. i miss my mom a lot i relate to this song a lot. i love this song

This reminds me of my family friend. She has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and in April they said she has 2 months to live. I don't know how she is, and every time I hear this song I break down because I miss her. This is also making me think of my great-grandma. I never met her but I am very close with her. She is always brought up and she is my guardian angel.

Such a special song, You guys are amazing and give all of us who have been around cancer courage. My grandfather recently passed, he had neoplasm of the brain, after surgeries and nights staying with him, hospice at home and holding his hand till the end, watching him take his last breath, every time I hear this song I cry hearing his voice "Im so proud of you, and brag so much about you". He served in the Air force and too me a hero. Now you guys even give me more courage and strength dealing with the aftermath, his estate. I am trying to seperate myself but it is so hard, but this song brings back all the love, and all the things I know he wanted for me too do!

This hits so hard. I'm the youngest of three, our mother; my best friend passed away last weekend, the day after mother's day after fighting stage 4 colon cancer for 7 years. I never knew I could feel this much pain.
While I don’t have anyone in my family who has cancer or has passed away from anything I do still relate to this song in a way. Someone from my school was in the pool over summer and drowned. She passed before she was able to get to the hospital and one of my biggest regrets is not talking to her because now I can’t. This was a beautiful song that DEFINITELY deserved the golden buzzer.
I had lymphomatic cancer when I was 21. I was so lucky to get through it, and for that reason this song just breaks my heart. To the writers of this song, and anybody else who has lost a loved one to cancer, just remember they are always nearby. Just in the next room.

This is my grief song. Every time I listen to it I let it all out. My mom died on Oct 16, 2019 of colon cancer, and not a day goes by when I don’t think about her. I miss her daily and some days are easier than others, but nights like tonight the grief is so thick I can’t bare it. That’s where this song comes in. I feel like she’s telling me “baby girl I’m ok. this song is saved in my phone, it reminds me of my mom. almost 2 years ago i lost her. im almost 16 i lost her when i just turned 15 a few months after my birthday. she had type one diabetes. she lost her ability to walk 3 years before she died we did everything for her. the older brother part means alot because my brother was her best friend now he has to help take care of me. im blessed to have him and my dad. i miss my mom a lot i relate to this song a lot. i love this song

When that happens to me it means only one thing. The song is not only good it is fantastic. I love how you made transitions in a song. Not to many bands do that. For me it was be a factor in making a song a great song. In fact another very famouse song made transitions in it and that song is Stairway To Heaven. I still havr to listen to your other material and when I do I will be looking for different structure in them, because that is what makes not only a good song, it makes a good band that will last in the years to come with their music. I miss my grandmother, while losing her was hard, what was even worse was forcing myself to stand exactly where she suffered. I heard this song for the first time in dvr recordings my mom recorded. It was the day after she passed away from cancer. They're song touches me so deeply I can hardly bare to listen it's a message from mom telling me it's ok. This reminds me of my family friend. She has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and in April they said she has 2 months to live. I don't know how she is, and every time I hear this song I break down because I miss her. This is also making me think of my great-grandma. I never met her but I am very close with her. She is always brought up and she is my guardian angel.

I just heard this song after losing my aunt in june and uncle last week. They were like my grandparents. They meant the world to me. After just hearing a few seconds of this song i broke down. I honestly think it was them telling me they're not to far away from me.
