You can assume some deductions from salary (income tax, NPS) and arrive at the approx in hand. There are some other perks as well available after probation. As far as the money being "enough" for Mumbai, I would say either it is never enough or anything is enough. It depends on your lifestyle and your ability to be flexible about it more than anything else.
GD is in English because they can't make exceptions for the entire group. You may request the interview panel to take your interview in Hindi. Though its upto them to decide.
Hello sir. First of all thanks for sharing your experience. There is a 4 year bond after clearing GIC Scale 1 Officer. so I just wanted to ask you that did you paid the bond money to leave your job?
If the other organisation agrees to transfer the bond, then you don't have to pay anything to anybody and just serve the remainder period in the other organisation. For me, PFRDA did not allow such a transfer and therefore I had to liquidate the bond.

They are of phenomenally high standards meant for CAT and other management related exams. If you prepare them, you can crack any exams under the sun. In order to get those materials, you may go to their website and request for further details. My university classmate is the principal faculty and a coordinator. He may be of great help to you.
Maybe check out these bank/insurance prep websites. If that doesn't work out then search specifically for critical reasoning questions such as strengthening and weakening of arguments, assumptions of arguments, conclusions of arguments etc.

Yes you can attempt. Your previous preparation will help you. For GA yeah mostly current affairs.

If you get posted you have to serve except if you have some genuine issues. Also, you may not even get posted abroad at all.

Higher order reasoning is Critical reasoning, for general reasoning, there is different Reasoning section.

Not much of an inside idea about actuarial deptt. Sorry..
But some people have gained good work ex and switched to some international reinsurers as well. GIC Re was instrumental in the launch of PMFBY
