PS1 or low poly is actually is both an art style and performance optimization, PS1 or low polys has few polys so fewer draw calls, thus one of the ways to make smoother games.
Look up "PS1 blender" and you'll see art guides how to make them

Riot no longer works with amazon prime so corki can no longer get his package :( So sad.

@@mitayoonash8258 amazon had to pay for each drop redeemed. they asked riot if they could reduce the price per redeem, but rito denied.
after that the deal was off, and riot is now exploring ways for content creators to stream in their own streaming platform ( like twitch ) with drops

It's a revert. Other than lowering ultimate cooldown on auto attacks his kit got one to one reverted to one before the rework with a package shenanigans.
The missile barrage has always been magic damage, no?

Bruf, he went from spellcaster to most standard adc in history. His AA deal more dmg, he got wave clear, he got a dash the end. Just lost all his uniqueness
He used to be an adc back in the day, his passive is actually what it used to be pre-rework.

Nah it was toxic with all the AP ratios. Literally an artillery mage for no reason. The idea behind Corki is that he's supposed to be a spell-casting ADC, not a mage like Xerath. You can't deny how uninteractive it is to play against Malignance Muramana Corki who just spams ult from a far and uses W as escape
they actually straight up killed the man, he has no identity, no package, and builds like every other AD champ
It is shittiest rework ever. They took away the one thing that makes him unique and turned him into a 2009 champion again.
Ah yes, an Ult spam machine that waits on a passive to nullify team fights, what a great and healthy identity
@@thejedisonic67 I think they were referring to the magic damage. What made corki unique is that he dealt mixed damage and has always been difficult to itemize against. Also he could build both ad and ap items at times.
@@thomasmcmahan2631he was easy to counter build actually. All of his abilities exclusively does magic damage (except the shred one) and his basic attacks convert 80% to magic damage which still exclusively scales with AD. Which means all you need to do is build MR. Corki item builds are limited because he does not benefit from lethality, and his abilities scale better with AD rather then AP so if he wants to build magic pen he has to get a basically useless AP stat with it. He was just too gimmicky. If his AA scaled of AP and his abilities scaled better with AP then by all means an AP Marksman is pretty unique and cool but that was not the case
@@sisi6679i Still remember when They released the rework his Passive make him Deal 55% AD Magic Damage and 55% AD physical Damage. But 110% AD is too Broken for Riot.
@@thomasmcmahan2631 it's for the better, every season because of his dumbass ap damage interaction he has a really dumb build the dominates for a month until this champ gets nerfed into obscurity.
this should make him easier to balance until he gets a real full scale rework.

Aw, I liked his old passive. The rocket was quite nice when catching up into teamfights. You'd respawn, take a rocket then quickly go to the fight than u would just use your enhanced dash to deal a large amount of dmg without having any cd on the next dash. Quickly shredding everyone down and killing them
that's the reason why they remove the passive so FK aburd
corki with package up is 5x stronger than without. They now even his powerlvl out.
@@affirazer Which was the only reason why people play corki. The passive deliveres so much optional gamestyles and teamfight enterings, roamings, everything.
They should just reduce the dmg of his enchanted W, not remove it.

His passive supply drop makes sense and is the best part about playing him, raining down bombardments

As one of the 5 active corki players, I hate the fact that his package got removed, so with this and the vanguard, it's time to quit. It has surely been a great 9 months of playing.

i'm sad for the package, but it must be done, since riot could never buff him before competitive would took over and break him again, now that is freed from his curse it might find his place in the meta without dominate it.

however I cannot forgive them for giving this champion true dmg again, and kill of his weird build paths that made him so fun to play.
Corki has darius E range tho, Q is slow, small AOE and clunky, corki E has darius E range with tiny damage and tiny shred, as others said almost like an emote or recall animation.
Also, this is from someone who want's this current corki to be successful

When I used to play him I thought a nice change rould be: Change his Q to be his old R and his R beocome like Karma's R empowering of one of his abilities. The Q could serve as a mini-nuke if you wanted the damage, the W be his package empowered without the slow and less damage and for his E to slow with more damage.
So his different scaling could be something like choosing AD to poke with Q, att speed and haste for a mobile kiting machine with W, AP for the utility side of his kit (slow and armor/mr shredding).

Seems a lot more fun to play not gonna lie, especially with the reduce cool down on his own so it feels like you’re really getting a lot of attack and Autos in

This is basically a revert to before his changes in season 6 (i think)
@walidkhemakhem3639, his old passive was a plain flat 10% true damage on auto attack that didn't work with sheen. Now it is 15% that also works with sheen and further increases with crit. It's much better now for crit builds. Essence reaver will be a first item for him now.

I think Corki was sometimes a better malp and always a better taliyah(except CC), cause corki can play xerath mode if nothing else, while having W for escape. While having Muramana &/or Essence Reaver for mana sustain.
"Package" corki had everything except survivability and the pure DPS of a hyper carry like vayne
when you group up on baron only to realyze you forgot your passive at base.... an unique corki moment.
Lethality corki aboutta to go crazy
They gave Corki his old passive back. He used to do 10% true damages, instead of the new 15%, WAAAAY back in the days. I used to play Corki quite a bit in S2 and 3 and when I picked him back up, 2-3 years ago, I was surprised to see that his true damage was gone.
Didn't know corki used to have true damage. When I started playing Lol, Corki's AA deal 55% physical 55% magic split on 110% Ad scaling basic attack
His package made him so unique :(. I will miss it.
I'm feeling excited to see his new huge ad & true dmg, but we gonna miss his ap converted dmg soon

I am not a champions designer so my idea would probably be unbalanced but...
It could be fun if his W dash speed went up and its length extended by the initial cast range on every time corki would pass through enemy (or even ally) champions, similar to sera ult. Imo it would be cool and in tfs it would had a similar vibe as his packages on current passive.

I doubt this will change his play rate unless he's op for a patch with true damage
i wish they'd up his movement speed a little bit. magical footwear doesn't even bring you up to the same level as most it feels

@@samuelt8825The only AP items Corki ever built, including Sorcs, were ones that gave magic pen or MR reduction.
He didn't used to. This is old Corki. Passive dealing some true damage on AA was original passive. His E used to deal Physical damage only.
The only difference here is they added a Crit damage modifier on the True damage on passive. E still shreds Magic Resist, which it didn't used to. And his Ult always dealt Magic damage, while it does physical now, plus the AA reduces CD is new.
This is a revert with tweeks. I'm gonna like this one. Been missing him in the bot lane. Graves Revert when?
@@samuelt8825 well ofc he built sorcs before? guy is like almost full magic dmg. 80% of his aa dmg was magical, q was magical, w was and still is, E is hybrid and ult is again magic.

corki just went sorcs, sometimes ludens for mana and flat pen, sometimes a void staff purely for pen. pen for the type of dmg he has, which is magical. hes always built AD tho. thats kinda been his thing. built AD, do magic dmg.
and yeah, they are making him, AD, and removing all this magic bs, making him not go sorc boots. is this an issue for u? that corki is now gonna do physical dmg? his built isnt gonna change all that much aside from not builing magic pen.
The corki's package always had been ridiculous to me so i'm happy to see it will remove

If they want him to be an ADC they should try and work on having crit items more compatibility with his abilities, like crit on his R.

I personally love this change. I'm curious on how a lethality build well be, obviously hell need to auto attack but those ratios are very good. An assassin corki?
Not as good as crit will be with that bonus crit true damage. Especially as most lethality items don't have crit. Maybe collector but only that on.
corki has always loved pen, so hes likely going to look for some lethality items yea. esp considering a fair amount of them give haste, something corki does enjoy.

i just wish u could aim his gatling gun while moving or atleast choose which way it shoots instead of having to physically run people down. cuz if you're running or kiting in a fight u literally just cant use ur E cuz it faces where ur running and not where the enemy is :/
I mean, it was weird but I actually kinda liked package. Knowing when and how to utilize it really showed if player knew how to play that champ. I love Corki and I hope this wont ruin it for me.

The Package was a unique touch to this character. Hopefully they'll revert it when the new model comes.
True; and now that he will be a close range DPS because of the changes that make him Auto attack champ more than a R poke champ, the package make even more sense.
Package will be nerfed from Package > Small Parcel.

I am one out of five people that play Corki and I am happy about the changes
well... is good to get more options of true damage that not are vayne, smolder,fiora,etc but is to low and the fun about corki always was the amount of variety builds that he has
It's extra damage, not part of his original damage, he's gonna hit a lot harder now.
@@BoneWalker not really, removing all the magic damage from his kit and reducing his actual ability to play from range just leaves him as an ad focused adc that sucks ass compared to other adcs and has no build variety anymore, most bland rework they could have done

@@SuperbFairy I meant the 15%extra damage on autos and spellblade are gonna do more overall damage than converting 80% of your auto damage into magic damage, when most people were gonna run mr against corki anyway.
@@SuperbFairy crazy opinion considering u havent played it. we dont know if he will actually be good in the adc role at all, he may still just stay mid, and play extremely similar to what he already does. looks like its gonna be WAY less frustrating to play against tho thats for sure.
call it bland if u want, but if this fixes a lot of the frustration of playing into a corki, why is that necessarily a bad thing? i see that as an absolute win. doesnt look like corkis overall playstyle is changing, doesnt look like hes not gonna be able to pretty much do what he already does rather similarly. loss of package is sad for sure, but it does make sense seeing as its rly unfun and extremely potent. not many if anyone at all just gets a free engage tool that is that good just on their passive as a sorta "why not?"
this update, will definitely by the looks of it make it so much more fun and interactive to play into corki. and it will also remove some of those rly frustrating AP builds too.
removing AP dosent equal no build variety. if anything, he still has some of the highest variety in the game. before this, corki could buy like literally any dmg item. now its limited to AD, and not just that hes not forced to go crit. so still one of the more flexible ones. he now, is confined to buy one dmg type for his items, just like literally any other champ in the game. i dont see an issue with that, i see that as a win.
