something unhealthy I do at 24 is drive around looking at houses and scratching my head wondering how people paid for them, if they paid for them at all, and how I’m supposed to ‘get there’ or if I’m going to stay in the same spot I am right now, forever. I try to remind myself to actually go see my friends on my days off work even when I may not feel like it. Not just let my 20s be about working and nothing else. But in between all that; hell no, I have no idea what I should be doing or what I even am doing. I get really concerned about the things I need to have in order before I meet someone or before I have kids but then I recognize that nobody wants me to have my life completed or fully in order when they meet me lol. That’s really boring, for them to have no influence on me or nothing for us to work on together. And I would want them to have things they are chasing after for themselves too. No one really wants to meet someone who’s done, checked out of life, and already living in the epilogue. It’s cheesy, but they want to actually experience things with you and get from point A to point B with you. Nobody wants to meet anyone at point Z. So I appreciate hearing other people that don’t have things figured out either. When I wake up and I’m 50, I bet I’ll still have nothing figured out and these are the types of videos I’ll come back to.

i turned 26 on 31st of july and this is the video that i relate the most (like ever), not excluding any of the bits but especially about what am i doing with my life & future anxiety. i've been already relating quite a lot coincidentally (while knitting a vest) but this one hit differently♥

It feels embarrassing to care about a boy you know you wouldn’t have ended up with but when you’re worried about the future, knowing you still are trying to find a partner throws another obstacle in your path. I hope you give yourself some grace💚

Hi Sally Darr!! I’m not a huge account on tiktok by any means, but I wanted to validate the feeling that you described where you have to be the loudest in the room every day. It’s really difficult to make content with those constraints, and I’m sure it’s much harder for a big account like yours as well with all of the added pressure. I hope you’re doing well! I felt like this video felt really authentic, hopefully it felt like there was less pressure in making it! :)
This video is refreshing in a sense. I blame that on the fact that I have been going thru the same thing (crying at the drop of a hat, worrying)... Also, this won't really help bc it may fuel the fire of you explaining how uploading kind of became a weight on you shoulders, but Idk I wanted to say that most of my confort youtube videos come from this channel : )
sally darr I know you said your sad girl music may not help, BUT if you want some crying and knitting music you need to know about deb talan if you don't already. "big strong girl" and "saturn's light" helped me through a very similar emotions. she's also part of the weepies so if you really wanna get into it "they're in love, where am I?" is also a good one.
