The shock from an impact against something it can't overcome almost certainly could, at least theoretically, throw the cars around in that manner... it just doesn't because that kind of force usually just causes the train to buckle under its own weight from the force, where it effectively disintegrates into itself or collapses like an accordion being closed.

Canonically speaking, none of the mercenaries save Soldier are actually idiots. Heavy acts pretty simple, but he has a bachelor's degree in Russian Literature, Spy is basically French James Bond, the Medic is still an accomplished doctor, license or not (remember, he stole a patient's skeleton, and they STILL WOKE UP), Engineer is, well, an engineer capable of constructing automated defense turrets, Demoman makes and fires his own explosives, all while drunk and somehow not killing himself ("One wayward pinch of potassium chlorate, one errant twitch, and KABLOOEY!"), Sniper is a cold and calculating hitman with great respect for his own workmanship, Pyro is... well, either majorly psychotic, on LSD constantly, or being tricked into fighting by his goggles actually making him see those little girl fantasy visions, nobody seems sure on that one. Scout is basically a kid from Boston, so not the brightest bulb in the box, but not a complete idiot either. Soldier, on the other hand, has always been a harebrained idiot, and has only been getting worse since joining the mercenaries' war because he refuses to drink bottled water like everyone else, and instead continues drinking lead-contaminated tap water from the lands they're fighting over.
Fun fact about denying use of rails to enemy combatants: I believe during the American Civil War and WW1, armies would basically create these heavy plows that they'd attach to locomotives and drive them backwards as they retreat through an area. The plows would obliterate the ties connecting the rails together after the locomotive passed over them, rendering the track entirely unusable at a fast rate. It lacked the subtlety of simply removing the spikes, but for denial of service it was undoubtedly effective.

Half right, the train launching itself would not happen on flat track but going from say 9000 ft elevation to 2000 means it has a lot of time to pick up the speed to crash like that, plus a large main line diesel locomotive can get going at 90 mph so a train going down a 2 percent grade it could potentially get well over 120 mph. For good examples look up cajon pass runaways, 3 in total and one demolished a neighborhood much like that train did to the red team's base.

I've never been good at chess. The only way I've been able to win is by clearing as many pieces as possible while protecting the king and rooks, then use my rooks to force the king back.
20:30 i've heard of a similar tactic used by environmental activist groups to nonviolently sabotage trains carrying oil tankers. These days, train tracks have sensors to determine whether a length of track has a car on it. By using a standard jumper cable you can get at any autozone, you can clamp two of these sensors together and fool a conductor into thinking that their train is about to collide with another one. If you paint the jumper cable white and hide it in the snow well enough, you can hold up the entire train for hours while they search for the source of the problem.
Crazy how in game heavy can do 2 jabs or 1 haymaker and outdamage the caber which is a grenade. So one haymaker from heavy is nearly twice as strong as a grenade. Even soldiers taunt kill only does 2.5 times more damage that a heavy melee crit with heavies haymaker doing 195 and the taunt kill 500 and that’s also more damage than a midrange shotgun shot, a fully charged sniper shot, a headshot, a pipe grenade, and even a direct hit from the direct hit. Conclusion: don’t fuck with heavy

(yes I realize how this is realistically very unreliable, but Blu team had very little to lose mostlikely) 22:30 it is also possible that the Red base is incredibly underprepared as they probably didn't have time and tools to utilize your idea.
ive been waiting for this, thank you
Please watch voice over of the TF2 comics done by The Beard, THEY'RE SO GOOD
(theres different types of tf2 comics)
*TF Comics* _(pretty much lore and a more realistic team fortress 2 universe)_
*Update Comics* _(Comics made for updates, who would've guessed)_
*Saxton Series* _(Saxton Hale is cool enough to have his own series)_
The Ben paddock comic dub is better!
I watched both of 'em and can't remember wich one was the better one
End of the line was the bast movie ever
Ah yes the BAST video
27:32
The pidgons here are carrying a bomb, as in the earlier scene where solider is planning the train attack, there seems to be a plan for a pidgon bomb, so this is a backup plan I suppose.
Yo somebody needs to get this guy to react to pootis engage
Heck yes!
Context heavy lived in Russia so he is used to the cold
Actually, flying train cars are very common in high-speed rail accidents
i like how the cat didnt give a fuck when the railcar with anvils stoppe inches away from it
Unless I am crazy, he did acknowledge the #1 sniper and #2 sniper mugs
the whole "you loose most of your body heat through your head" is actually a misinterpretation of the experiment, you loose the most heat through exposed skin the head is just the easiest thing to uncover
why do i feel like MHGR takes a sip in every 30 seconds in this vid
He doesn’t know soldier from the heavy. He doesn’t have the qualifications to react to the end of the line Sfm
I liked The moment you saw pyros painting you gave it a tactical opinion, explaining what you liked about it.
Sad thing is, this could of, could of been an amazing update for Team Fortress 2, with how cool/amazing the film 🎥 and animation was done. However Valve was like, ehhhhhh no, let’s make this shit.
7:25 (joke) sniper jus has so strong gorilla grip he can just aim perfectly with no vibrations from his hands even when standing, and doesn't fell recoil
Fun fact Uber charge only makes the skin indestructible how ever your insides can still be crushed
Does it though? Ubered mercs can shrug off bullets and melee strikes to the head no problem.
@@ScampiTheSighted think of it like this they can be hit by trains and smashed by giant hammers and die while ubered the reason why when they are ubered and get hit it bounces of unless it explodes
@@therobotfish6715 I don't think there's a lore explanation for what can and can't kill you while ubered, only a gameplay one. You can fall from an insane height and take zero damage, but also fall from a tiny height and instantly die because it's meant to be an out-of-bounds areas and the mapmaker put a trigger_hurt at the bottom.
@@ScampiTheSighted good point
Please read the comics or listen to the great dub. You'll find some interesting and hilarious character moments. Heavy not actually being a moron and being intelligent and competant. Sniper's thoughts about his job. Pyro having a sucessful company. Murdering bears. A lot of neck snapping. Tom Jones. Baboons.
for the longest time i thought end of the line was
an offical tf2 film
Sniper is not a normal human, none of the mercs are. If Scout can hit a bear into a mountain, Sniper can shoot while standing
So a combat veteran is really going into tf2, even though like cod and other game's had better graphics... The community salute you
And I like how there are still no sniper mains angry at his "Little lecture"
Well, it was traveling down a mountain slope for a while. That would generally build a shit load of momentum.
Fun fact: The pigeon bomb is an easter egg in one of the tf2 maps (thunder mountain?)
I think it's cp_snowplow. It's suppose to be added in the End of the Line update, however it ended up being cut from the update due to the map being "too confusing for new players," which is where that meme originally started. If I remembered correctly, it was finally added to the game again in the Gun Mettle update as it's own separate gamemode.
@@_freezingfrost_6515 oh ok thanks i was probably thinking of another easter egg
The train was probably moving at 90 mph.
And that is from where the map cp_snowplow begins. The BLU base burning in the background.
Day # (I lost count) of recommending Krunkidile's "Team Service Announcement" series
The Snowplow map in the game is based on that cinematic, is a bit confusing, but you should try.
23.00 at this point, they might as well have let it explode
You didn't react at all to the fact that they actually used the secret pigeon bomb shown earlier.
I've never been good at chess. The only way I've been able to win is by clearing as many pieces as possible while protecting the king and rooks, then use my rooks to force the king back.
* intense climactic battle scene *
*pauses*
"by the way guys my shit is green"
Paul looks like captain Price with that moustache
20:30 i've heard of a similar tactic used by environmental activist groups to nonviolently sabotage trains carrying oil tankers. These days, train tracks have sensors to determine whether a length of track has a car on it. By using a standard jumper cable you can get at any autozone, you can clamp two of these sensors together and fool a conductor into thinking that their train is about to collide with another one. If you paint the jumper cable white and hide it in the snow well enough, you can hold up the entire train for hours while they search for the source of the problem.
Do you see it, Paul? Do you see the POWER of SFM?!
This man makes 14 minute long videos into 29 minute long videos.
Thanks for the facts! I always wondered why we evolved to have hair on our head and lost it everywhere else
Just curious, What happened to your mic? You sound like you're underwater now lmao
If you want a little help, the icons on the sleeve tell the class
3:50 yooo you are an artist
