Much respect to this pilot! I am one of those passengers who understand if you don't feel right putting a plane in the air. I pray for a pilot like this each and every time I fly.

I saw these words and immediately thought this polit was a mental case.” Turns out, the pilot made the correct decision.
He's probably talking about the oil strainer clogging light, unless basic instrumenting of engines has changed in 20 yrs. And that's a hard no go call that guys didn't used to like making.
