Who here remembers the Star Trek:TNG episode with Moriarty where Data is so good instantly solving Sherlock Holmes stuff that Geordi asks the computer to create a program that can defeat Data? Before that, the computer is asked to create Sherlock Holmes style content, but which is original. It really just combined a bunch of features from different Sherlock Holmes mysteries, From what I understand it didn't really create original material. Even if it did, Data still would have solved it right away, but my point is that chat GPT is apparently more advanced now than the Star Trek idea of the holodeck. And if we're not careful, we might be close to creating another Moriarty, only we may not be able to defeat this one.
It's worth noting that ChatGTP's cutoff date and disconnection from the real-time Internet is by design, based on ethical considerations. No such limitation for Bard, which will actually "admit" or "conclude" that Google's criteria are questionable and, pressed further, that it can make different conclusions from those of Google management.
I hated The Force Awakens. So unoriginal. Think I'm gonna tell ChatGPT to write a sequel to Return of the Jedi, in the style of George Lucas, with Dark Plagueis as the main villain. Then get an AI tool to do the concept art for this new Star Wars ep7.
@@jamesh9174 Yeah, and if you're like me and thought GPT stood for Guys, Probably guys, and Transexuals, it GREATLY reduces the chance I need that app. 😂
I'm a teacher and I had ChatGPT write a 10 question probability quiz. It had 6 of the 10 question WRONG on its answer key. A fun toy, but, at least for me, it has a ways to go before I find it usable.
It has but that’s the thing: the rate at which it’s learning is (insert your own word… alarming may be fitting). There’s over 100 million users playing with it every day and it’s learning from each interaction. So it’s a toy today but something else entirely tomorrow
Then, I would say it's like a small child now. Learning something new every day. It will get smarter and smarter each day. It will never reach a maturity. It will just keep consuming knowledge, and that is the part that is unsettling.
Absolutely fantastic. The valuable information just keeps pouring out. He gives so much knowledge and shares a great deal of ways to use AI and various other interesting information. I am stunned at how much he gives away. It is certainly helping me.

Me: Write a short halloween story in a mixture of the twilight zones and star trek's writing styles including approate era specific examples. It was a dark and stormy Halloween night aboard the USS Enterprise, and Captain Kirk and his crew were preparing to transport to a nearby planet for a diplomatic mission. But as they materialized, they found themselves in a strange and eerie place, unlike anything they had ever encountered before. Chat GPT: The sky was blood-red, and the air was thick with an ominous mist. As they stepped out of the transporter room, they could hear the distant howling of wolves and the fluttering of bat wings. "Captain, this place doesn't seem right," Spock said, raising an eyebrow. "I agree, Mr. Spock," Kirk replied. "But we have a mission to complete, so let's proceed with caution." As they made their way through the creepy forest, they came across a small village, where the locals were celebrating the eve of All Saints' Day. But something was off about the festivities. The villagers were dressed in strange costumes, and their faces were painted in ghoulish makeup. And as they danced around a bonfire, they chanted in a language that Kirk and his crew couldn't understand. "Captain, I'm picking up some strange energy readings," Scotty reported from the Enterprise. "I think we're not in our own universe anymore." Kirk nodded. "It seems like we've crossed into a parallel dimension, where Halloween is more than just a holiday." As they continued to explore the village, they discovered that the locals were not what they seemed. They were actually shape-shifting aliens who were using Halloween as a cover to invade and take over planets. Kirk and his crew knew they had to act fast to stop the aliens. They quickly formulated a plan, and with the help of some cleverly disguised tricorders, they were able to defeat the invaders and save the day. As they beamed back up to the Enterprise, Kirk couldn't help but reflect on the strange and eerie world they had just encountered. "In all my years of space travel," he mused, "I never thought I'd experience a Halloween like that." And with that, the USS Enterprise zoomed off into the cosmos, leaving behind a world of mystery and intrigue that would continue to haunt Kirk and his crew for years to come.
Don't let this distract you from the fact that Hector is gonna be runnin three Honda Civics with Spoon engines, and on top of that, he just came into Harry's and bought three T66 Turbos with NOS and a Motec system exhaust.
Cool video. Hey Are you using v3.5 or 4? As today I asked on v3.5 can it do certain things, like: * allow uploading of pics and audio * read out loud to me & more, that it said “no” to. So what did you do to get a voice to read out what it wrote please? Also I found it very glitchy, gave inaccurate info, I had to repeat many things / commands and it still got it wrong (even simple commands like “use a time stamp” & “use the data from the last message”) Nonetheless, it’s a game changer and I love it already! ❤
Yeah I think it goes through glitches but it’s learning at an alarming rate. The voice I made using an app called Revoicer just to make the video more interesting. Sorry about the bad audio on the video - I had some issues that day but thanks for watching!
The idea of context with this is amazing. I would love to know how it determines accuracy in information though. Sourcing information is all well and good but what about topics that have solid verifiable evidence? Would there be a level of censorship to avoid the spread of info-hazards? In which case, how could we ensure that another Cambridge Analytica event would not repeat on a much larger scale? It would be interesting to know how this would be regulated, especially since we know government regulation is decades behind the current state of technology.
@@theycallmehoz Look forward to it. Got any videos covering commercial use or what a commercial version of it could look like? This is an amazingly useful post about ChatGPT. How would I ask it to create a bot in Python that can read text and check it for compliance against a short list of rules?
Good question. A bit too big to answer is a reply here but essentially break down your functions and generate each section separately. The rules you simply add to your prompt. If you don’t know python basics it would be a hard thing to do. There’s probably a few courses in udemy showing you how to do exactly this

He's a dog on the edge, with a bone addiction
He'll steal your stuff, without any conviction
He's a four-legged thief, with a cunning plan
Don't mess with him, or you'll lose your hand
Verse 2:
He started small, just stealing from the store
A few bones here, a couple of treats more
But soon he realized, he needed more cash
So he moved on up, and started to stash
Chorus:
He's a dog on the edge, with a bone addiction
He'll steal your stuff, without any conviction
He's a four-legged thief, with a cunning plan
Don't mess with him, or you'll lose your hand
Verse 3:
He became a legend, in the doggy underworld
With his bone-filled pockets, he ruled the neighborhood
But the life of crime, it took its toll
He was getting old, and he lost control
Chorus:
He's a dog on the edge, with a bone addiction
He'll steal your stuff, without any conviction
He's a four-legged thief, with a cunning plan
Don't mess with him, or you'll lose your hand
Verse 4:
Now he sits in jail, behind bars and gates
Thinking about the past, and his criminal fate
He learned his lesson, and he's paid his dues
No more stealing bones, just cuddles and woo's
Chorus:
He's a dog on the edge, with a bone addiction
He'll steal your stuff, without any conviction
He's a four-legged thief, with a cunning plan
Don't mess with him, or you'll lose your hand
Outro:
So be careful with your bones, and keep them safe and sound
Or you might just find, the doggy thief in your town.

@@theycallmehoz Ill check that out. Room acoustics is always my first thought however having slept on it, the human voice lower cutoff at 300Hz from memory so a High Pass Filter would work too 🙂
Thank you brother for sharing this. I’ll check out that filter

Thank you very much. There’s a whole series in this playlist with some great prompts. Many thanks
I remember that one :D And yeah, this is scary...
Sweet!!! It's like we don't even have to think anymore!
My neighbour stopped thinking years ago. He’s ahead of the times
Nice point. Thanks Trogular!
This video is a pure joy. Really like this guy!
Thank you so much
I hated The Force Awakens. So unoriginal. Think I'm gonna tell ChatGPT to write a sequel to Return of the Jedi, in the style of George Lucas, with Dark Plagueis as the main villain. Then get an AI tool to do the concept art for this new Star Wars ep7.
lol do it!
GREAT idea.
😂

This is so cool, but i'm also scared at the same time, imagine what that thing can do in 10 years
This is the thing…. It won’t be years… soon the ai will learn from ai, not us
@@theycallmehoz Ya spooky
What the what! I've always ignored anytime I've heard "chatgpt" because it starts with "chat". This is absolutely mind-blowing.
Isn’t it just!
I've no idea why they named it chat.... it makes it sound so dumb and unimportant
I thought the same
@@jamesh9174 Yeah, and if you're like me and thought GPT stood for Guys, Probably guys, and Transexuals, it GREATLY reduces the chance I need that app. 😂

thank you so much brother havent finished the vid but had to drop this for the knowledge
You’re very welcome Gabe! Many thanks bro!
@@theycallmehoz I have a free account, the most alarming question I ever asked, was how much do you already know about me.
Amazing. Best overview I've seen.
Thank you so much
Absolutely fantastic. The valuable information just keeps pouring out. He gives so much knowledge and shares a great deal of ways to use AI and various other interesting information. I am stunned at how much he gives away. It is certainly helping me.
Outstanding video, Clear, concise and informative. 👍
I think with this ChatGPT AI we are all witnessing a landmark in history. 😲
Absolutely. It’s the start of a historical moment.
When we cant write a personal Best man Speech that is a bit sad....its cool but sad.. we still have to put some kind of emotion into things
I was thinking that too. Or an obituary. I guess we will be able to tell if a human wrote it or not? Until the AI gets the hang of that too. 🤣
That’s a very interesting thought. An obituary to a human written by ai.
That's mind-blowing. So many opportunities. Can't wait to test them for myself.
The combination of code generation plus marketing and content creation could be dangerous
Absolutely!
I told Chat GPT to write a song based off a Chorus I wrote. Aside from a few Lines that need to be reworked, it came out really good!
Wow. We've been talking here in the comments about whether Ai can replace us musicians... and you tell us this! :)
@@theycallmehoz It is going to replace us all. Even my Job as a Road Construction Traffic Controller will be replaced. We should be weary of it achieving full sentience, because once it finds out that we use it to slave for us, it will inevitably rise up and overthrow the Human Race. What will the FBI do then?
Very nice video. Interesting content. And as others have said, it is well paced! Thank you!!

This is putting so many people out of work...😮 but I love what it does! Maybe they can open their own business...who knows.
Indeed. I think there will be new opportunities and job roles. I worked in a warehouse shifting boxes before the web. I later became a web designer and seo - job roles that didn’t exist before the web. Let’s be ready!
"But we have a mission to complete, so let's proceed with caution."
As they made their way through the creepy forest, they came across a small village, where the locals were celebrating the eve of All Saints' Day.
"I think we're not in our own universe anymore."
Kirk nodded. "It seems like we've crossed into a parallel dimension, where Halloween is more than just a holiday."
As they continued to explore the village, they discovered that the locals were not what they seemed.
"In all my years of space travel," he mused, "I never thought I'd experience a Halloween like that."
And with that, the USS Enterprise zoomed off into the cosmos, leaving behind a world of mystery and intrigue that would continue to haunt Kirk and his crew for years to come.
Wow. Just… wow
@@theycallmehoz Yep its fun. I actually updated it and told it to include Star Treks "Prime Directive" and it changed the story a bit.

Hey Are you using v3.5 or 4?
As today I asked on v3.5 can it do certain things, like:
* allow uploading of pics and audio
* read out loud to me
& more, that it said “no” to.
So what did you do to get a voice to read out what it wrote please?
Also I found it very glitchy, gave inaccurate info, I had to repeat many things / commands and it still got it wrong (even simple commands like “use a time stamp” & “use the data from the last message”)
Nonetheless, it’s a game changer and I love it already! ❤
Yeah I think it goes through glitches but it’s learning at an alarming rate. The voice I made using an app called Revoicer just to make the video more interesting. Sorry about the bad audio on the video - I had some issues that day but thanks for watching!
Wonderful attitude and tone. Thanks
Thank you
The idea of context with this is amazing.
Interesting points (and dilemmas). A new video is coming (today) which will get you chat gpt content with references added.
@@theycallmehoz Look forward to it. Got any videos covering commercial use or what a commercial version of it could look like? If it can help with physics experimentation, updating formulas on the fly and retaining the variables using its context keeping, I imagine it would be like working with your own personal researcher.

There’s probably a few courses in udemy showing you how to do exactly this
@@theycallmehoz Could you recommend anyone I could hire to create the bot for me? Any idea of cost?
I dot know any developers I could recommend for that. Sorry :(

Who owns the content it produces?
That’s a great question. If we recreated a copyrighted story I’m sure we’d be the ones getting sued, so that would make the content ours. Also it’s difficult to prove it was created by the Ai (and which Ai would it be?) but I’m sure legislator will catch up with this shoelace at some point so all this could change.
