Swapping between the Fiio Bluetooth adapter and the cable… idk… it was annoying, unless you have a pair you ALWAYS use as a bluetooth pair, I would not recommend it. Gaming headsets like the Maxwell feel different since they’re full headphones, which makes them more immersive, plus they come with a mic. The Maxwell is wireless too. IEMs usually give you better isolation, but some gaming headphones have active noise cancellation now, so it really comes down to what you prefer.

Buy a creative bt-w6 transmitter to get snapdragon sound and aptX adaptive support on a PC. Alternative a2dp driver can add ldac support to windows but ldac on the UTWS5 is not good.
You’ll need a Bluetooth transmitter adapter with LDAC or Snapdragon Sound for the best sound quality. It’ll work without them if your PC has Bluetooth, but it’ll definitely sound better with LDAC or Snapdragon sound. The BTR17 is great, but it won’t help in this case since it's a receiver, not a transmitter.

I have the older version of these. Even if the new version fixes all the issues, it would still not be worth it… Buying that product made me realize the whole point of IEMs for me is the beauty of appreciating the product. If I want convenience, I’ll get my AirPods and go for a run. But yes oh boy I love my IEMs for lounging and working.
Swapping between the Fiio Bluetooth adapter and the cable… idk… it was annoying, unless you have a pair you ALWAYS use as a bluetooth pair, I would not recommend it. But if you have one ~300usd relaxing pair to use while cooking or walking around the house, maybe go for it.
damnit. just bought a pair of the older version
is this a new guy? his voice aint familiar?
Hey man, im checking out some gaming equipment and i have some questions.
Im tempted to buy the xenna mangird tea pro. But im also not sure if i should just buy the kiwi ears ke4/tanchjim origin
I also dont know if i sould just get a gaming headset instead, like the audeze maxwell or hyper cloud 2.
Its purely for gaming, (with music in the backround)
Id love to see what you would recomend.
Tbh,you don't need to spend too much for it,get something like NiceHCK F1 Pro,the Kinera Gramr cable and you already good for gaming,if you want a Headphone, the Hifiman HE400SE,a mic cable or external mic and a good dac already does the job.
@@lordlopes7777 I see what you mean, but do you think I should buy the cable individually? Aka the miners grant cable?
@@lordlopes7777 autocorrect😅 I mean to ask if you think I should buy a IEM cable individually, the kinera gramr cable
@@mr.circus1648
If you already have a good iem,an iem cable with a boom mic like the Kinera Gramr is a must you're gaming.
And yes is individual.
can u tell me how can i use on pc what i need for best quality of sound? im gonna use with fa19
Buy a creative bt-w6 transmitter to get snapdragon sound and aptX adaptive support on a PC. Alternative a2dp driver can add ldac support to windows but ldac on the UTWS5 is not good.
@@Lead_Foot thanks man so if i buy btr17 doesnt help me for pc and utws5 combine ?
You’ll need a Bluetooth transmitter adapter with LDAC or Snapdragon Sound for the best sound quality. It’ll work without them if your PC has Bluetooth, but it’ll definitely sound better with LDAC or Snapdragon sound. The BTR17 is great, but it won’t help in this case since it's a receiver, not a transmitter.
@@Gizaudio UGREEN USB C aptX 5.3 Bluetooth would help .?
@@bourjuva That should work perfectly. If you can find something similar that supports LDAC, that would be the best option for maximizing sound quality. However, I haven’t come across anything like that with LDAC support.
Been using these for about three years now instead of cables. Good to see you have caught up. 😝
i think its not pairing same time phone and pc
So this is the 2025 version? Still only bt 5.2? Wish I found this solution earlier than wasting money on tw earbuds that eventually die. And always disappointed with the sound.
Volume has been the trouble i meet on others i tested, it has been to low... So this sounds good
they are too expensive. Just buy a Fiio BTR11 with a short IEM cable.
Unlike the bt dac amps, these turn your IEMs into actual tws.
Way too expensive. Plus I use Iems to get away from bluetooth sound. They are huge and ugly. Way too much.
omg, 150+ $... no LC3... cheap DAC... why Fiio make this?
It's more powerful than any of the other tws adapters
@@HelixsoulX more powerfull... i am not shure about that. Just look moondrop EVO (90$) with same Aptx Adaptive and better DAC ESS Sabre
@@HelixsoulX i am not shure about that. Just look on Moondrop EVO (89$) - same low latency AptX Adaptive and better DAC ESS Sabre
