    So LTT finally decided to stop wasting their money on making Linus look taller than he actually is in all their videos. Similar to how Hello Kitty's Height is 5 apples, Linus is 2 LTT screwdrivers tall.

    They should've made it so that you can insert normal LTT screwdrivers into the large one as the bits. So you store your normal drivers in the bit storage and insert another one in the bitholder to actually use for screwing.

      You know it should be a crime against humanity for all the builds that LTT and other similar channels do that in turn get torn down almost immediately after the video is filmed. I know some of the time their issues such as returning this part or that part back to supplier/sponsor. Yet on the other hand it means that these people usually have parts laying around when they need to build a rig for a new employee. As we are always being shown what the various Server and IT closets at LMG look like after major updates, it sort of fun. I mean we get to see all aspects from Gamer builds(for kids and adults), family computers builds, NAS, various other types of home PC based servers, to actual production computers, network hardware, and actual set up of Server equipment that you find in various businesses. The only thing we don't see are Mini-Computers, Main Frame Computers, or Super Computer. To be fair the Server Racks that LMG has a few would be considered on par with the old Mini-Computers that took up entire room that they now can put into single Rack.

    A tip for knurling metal. Most shops make the knurling, then turn it down on the lathe afterward to give it a smoother surface.

    • @Spiker985Studios
      @Spiker985Studios 5 месяцев назад +1

      Also depends on the knurling pattern as well, if the knurling is a sharp diamond, then trimming it down on the lathe normally isn't an option because it flattens the pattern a bit

    • @verakoo6187
      @verakoo6187 5 месяцев назад +2

      It gives it a smoother surface sure, but it also takes away most of the grip, which is the whole point of a knurl. Probably not a big deal for a normal screwdriver, but on large parts u want the teeth to be sharp so they dig in and keep ur hand from slipping. If the teeth are flat ur hand is just going to glide across them.

    Just saying the wobble in the shaft extension is not based on length as the shaft length is the same in both types. the wobble is from the tip to the end of the extension. It is just bad tolerance in the big screwdriver. if the small one had the same end as the big one it would wobble the same.

    Dual Linus host, V-tuber "rookie" host written by the newer writers, and "live Linus" doing his thing. For those who've been around, at some point, someone takes over the mantle of Leo, so "real timeline" linus still does the news and live streams, but also, the writers who don't want to have an onscreen presence can be virtual personas, so they can either write for V-Linus, or themselves, and the older hands can still be part of it. In ten years will there be a "Linus's kids explain tech to their dad" segments? A fantastic use for virtual hosts.

    Follow the crumbs, Windows Media Center became Xbox Media Center (XBMC), then when Microsoft cut XBMC they went independent and became Kodi. Seriously Kodi, aka Amazon Fire Stick, is the evolution of Windows Media Center.

    I like the helmets from Scorpion, as they have a patent that allows them to be inflated to the exact size of your head with a small air pump in the helmet. Also, they are not super expensive.

    Was already planning on picking up a Noctua edition and a stubby next time they went on sale or there was a coupon code. This video provided sufficient incentive/inspiration for me to pull the trigger and buy both, so well played LMG =).

    45:28 yeah i upgraded my 1660 super 1 month ago (to a 6750 xt) and my ryzen 2600 to ma 5600, because i felt the low% was shit in street fighter 6 and i started playing no man's sky and wanted to achieve higher refresh rates on that, the old 1660 super was fine to me until now

    Can we have a supercut of this stream? It's kinda long for a days video, but i see Elijah and Linus combo, so there must be a goldmines worth of content here.

    missed oppurtunity to make one large enough to build a computer in, could put the resivoir inside the shaft and the computer could be in the bit storage, the bits would be inside bit storage.

    Speaking of the $69 gaming PC. I have a Dell Optiplex 790. Specs: Core i7 2600 @3.4Ghz, 16GB DDR3 1366Mhz RAM, 2TB SATA SSD, Nvidea GTX 1650 4GB. To be honest I am happy with the system. It is fast enough for my use and I can play the games that I want to play at 1440P 60 FPS
