The Call Of The Wild Review

Lave watched "The Call Of The Wild" and now he's telling you what he thought about it. Harrison Ford (sort of) stars alongside a dog (sort of) who gets stolen to work in Alaska as sled dog. But is it any good?

It started off so well and the scenery looked amazing. I wanted to be a dog sleigh postman in Canada. But i just felt deflated at the end for some reason 🤷🏻‍♂️ Overall I think it looks amazing but it’s a little sad and not in an uplifting way.

Have not seen it as yet, but plan to. i doubt if the CGI animals will affect my enjoyment of the movie (or lack thereof).

After the CATS CGI debacle you would think Hollywood would have learned. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I know CGI is here to stay but I don’t know I guess I’m old school. I think CGI is a cheaper alternative which is why they use it.

He does not! None of the dogs die at all, they run away tho, but buck does have a happy ending, but towards the end someone does die,

I personally do not like the movie for these reasons:
-Story drags until the movie is almost over
-Overuse of CGI
-Annoying and repetitive music
-Main plot doesn’t start until more than halfway through the movie
-2nd half of movie is pretty boring
-A villain we barely know anything about
Harrison Ford was the best part
