Hey! Maybe you could come up and record the Indiana Northeastern Railroad. It's my my home railroad and they operate in Hillsdale, Michigan Mongomery, Michigan Reading, Michigan Coldwater, Michigan and Quincy, Michigan. For Ohio they operate in Edon, Ohio and Montpelier, Ohio from what I know and. Indiana they operate in Freemont, Indiana and Angola, Indiana from what I know and there schedule is anywhere from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm EST. They mainly operate in Michigan though there headquarters are in Hillsdale, Michigan
Great to see the old GE leading again! Loved the sound of them pulling hard! It's great seeing small town America with the children playing and all the old nostalgic buildings, gave me a good flashback of being young and watching trains again! Great video Jawtooth! Thanks for sharing!

It's all relative, I guess... like yer grandma, uncles, aunts, cousins, that, I suppose you could say. Well, another fine video outing, Señor Jaws. Gonna go by the Museo de Ferrocarriles (train museum) again this morning. Nice video, JT. That red and black SD40-2 looks fantastic. The curvy section in Mt Orab is one of my favorite of your many locations. Keep up the good work.
I got my truck washed on OH32 between the marathon Truckstop and Mt Orab. Thursday evening. I was coming back from Gallipolis. That was a CRAZY Black wall of Foggy water. Like a mile long power scrub. The person in the car I thought was a brakeman. Oh well. CSX does the same at Queens gate. CSX has a mechanic come around and he can change out a brake pad in like 2 minutes. With minimum tools. Great video JT.
@@JawTooth I got the grand tour of Ohio Thursday. First run was to Reynoldsburg OH. so Gallipolis was the Second run. I saw creeks I didn't know was there.

Nice video Jaw Tooth of the train. I like the train when it was passing the train bridge. Today I saw train trestle and then I saw a CSX truck with railcars with train tied and they were about to fix the tracks. I hate that I miss it. But thank for sharing this video to us.
Pretty cool stuff JT. That B36 had a really bad miss in it, wasn't sounding too healthy, at least they got that SD40-2, that thing will be worth its weight in gold. Cool shots, great video JT👍🏼😎🇺🇸

The guy in the Jeep may have had a good reason such as running late getting to work. But the driver of the gray car sure didn't how to do a three point turn!
It does not always pay to be impatient at crossings ,ones with several tracks can prove fatal.I watched one where the driver went around the crossing gate as soon as a freight cleared the road only to be impaled on the nose of a passenger train going in the opposite direction.

Well the little kid wasn't carrying cans of spray paint. What with the derelict building the kids game is to avoid being hit by bricks. Nice bridge and would have a lot more brush in the way come. Summer. Good chase
The GP15 was presumably there to switch the grain cars into/out of WInchester Ag -- they can't use six-axle locomotives down that spur and probably not the heavy B36-7, either. CCET doesn't run actual DPUs as they don't have any heavy trains. Those tanks were all storage.
Great video. I have a studio that I do radio and TV production with and my audio monitors make those close runbys sound amazing plus that B-36 horns are awesome.
I can only offer some comment on the bridge/trestle. The current structure there does follow a once lighter duty structure, likely a deck truss bridge, because I noted the one pier in the river has a stone block lower half, followed by the poured concrete addition atop the stonework. Very common, so I tend to note, the previous structure had spans twice the length (to say, every other pier) of the current structure. Take note, if possible, that every other pier is half stonework and half concrete, while the alternating piers are all concrete, those usually being the second and fourth of all of the (currently existing) piers between the abutments. In order to carry the weight of more modern trains each of the former spans are now cut in half, hence, you will see stonework on every other pier. Sometimes, steel towers canl be used in between the older cut stone piers rather than constructing new concrete piers so to support the newer shorter replacement spans. This is something I tend to look for in bridges. (The former Greenville, NH high bridge, spanning the Souhegan River in SW NH, on the B&M RR's former "Greenville Branch" is one such example of alternating stone piers and steel towers for the most recent structure used. It was removed in 1983. I did a final walk across it before it all come down.)

When I was a kid, back in the '60s, my folks always hated it when we got stuck at a RR crossing. Not me! I was delighted!
I always remind people of how many trucks not clogging the roads. And I also remind people of how we all depend on both industries.
Me too! In the 70s. 😉

Some people just can’t stand to sit at a railroad crossing. I personally love it. I want to be first in line.
"Can't stand to sit" -- might be mixing metaphors a bit, there.
I don't like to be first in line, because one of biggest fears is a derailment of those tanker cars, because I don't know if they are full or not.
