Enjoyed the singing immensely. However as a former ‘Irish Dancer’ the music by all the group had me wishing I could get out on the floor again. I’m 82 and now living in Western Australia, and am an SDCRG - translated means I’m a retired Teacher, Adjudicator, and Examiner of Irish Dancing etc. Eoghan O Cuinn.

Port is by far the best show I have ever seen. Not one poor episode. The people of the UK and Ireland are starved of the quality this wonderful programme presented. The guest musicians and singers are light years ahead in talent, modesty and sheer beauty of their music than the rubbish we in the UK have to endure on TV. When can we expect Port 4 and repeats of the first 3 Ports on BBC alba?

I tried to buy the DVDs but couldn't find a source that will sell to someone in America. Know where I might buy them? This is beautiful, as usual for anything Port produces. Is there any way for you to again upload "Rigs of Rye" with Niamh Parsons singing the lead? In my opinion, that is the single most beautiful thing you've given us. I have found Niamh singing it solo elsewhere, but Julie's harmonies as well as the male singer (forgot his name) and the musicians add something magic. Everybody I shared that with told me its beauty made them cry.

I'm not entirely certain, but I think it was in the Port 2 series. I tried to follow a link through which I had shared the song with one of my sisters last year and after my click, youtube popped up with a screen reading -- ""Port,2,Baile Áth Cliath,Dub..." The RUclips account associated with this video has been terminated due to multiple third-party notifications of copyright infringement."

A friend of mine living in UK wants to buy sets of the Port series. How would they do that? I visited the TG4 site you linked me to previously, but I can't figure out if that offers a way to buy these. It might help if I explain I am working from the PBS model here in the United States. Just about any series PBS offers -- and many are BBC productions -- can be purchased from their website. For instance, I purchased the complete "All Creatures Great and Small" series, all seasons, from PBS.
So I may be working off wrong assumptions about your Port series. Here's Port 3, for example, but can someone purchase a boxed set of all the performances in Port 3?
      www.tg4.ie/en/programmes/port-season-3/
      Thanks for you time.

Aodán Ó Ceallaigh, who sings in this video, is a native Irish speaker from that area.
