Thank you! I'm glad it can bring you some peace while watching. That's a small goal of mine, so I'm glad it's working. Thank you for enjoying my content
Awwww! Thank you! Its years of practice, with time and effort anyone can do this. Keep trying I know you'll get to where you want to be. The pens help, but they are my preferred tool, pick the one that feels best to you. I did make a video reviewing a few different brands of pens that I use. Here is the link to that: ruclips.net/video/OAizueaUhCE/видео.htmlsi=5OfXeUZx412JoxAR
Amazing video and instructions, my line work improved immediately after watching this!! Thanks again. If you ever require any royalty free music for your videos let me know, i produce electronic music and relaxing soundscapes, experimental breakbeat and ambient to name a few.
Thank you! I'm glad I could help! " Yes! I would love to have some more music available to me! Do you have any original music posted anywhere that I could listen to it?
In a previous video you mentioned a woman that uses line art to create mountain scapes. I’d love to see something like that. I did a RUclips search on line art but nothing much came up. Are there many artists you’d recommend? Loving what you’re doing in this piece. I appreciate your process. You feel the art. It directs you, you don’t force it to be something it doesn’t want to be. Very zen.
I have a HUGE list of artists that I follow on Instagram who do line artwork! But to answer your first question here is a link to the artist that does mountain scenes: instagram.com/christarijn/ In one of my previous videos (maybe the one you are talking about) in the description I put a list of links to other artists on Instagram that are line artists. Ill post the link to my other video with the list of links: ruclips.net/video/SVMeTnqIlZ0/видео.html Ive found that if you search for just "line art" you will get outlines to tattoos or character design. I did a quick test and searched for "abstract line art" and that came up with many more videos of other artists with a very similar style to mine. There are other names used for the style as well, to name a few: comprehensive line art, Zentangle, abstract organic art, fine line art, line sculptures, and fluid line art. Finally, Thank you! I'm happy that you are enjoying my work and creative process. That is my main thing for almost ally my artwork, I dont want it to feel forced or assembly line fabricated. I find it really enjoyable to be as fluid and calm as the lines I draw. Thank you very much for your kind words. Let me know if you have more questions.
Love your videos brotha! Recently getting into this art form and my mind loves the meditative aspect! Ripping through your educational videos, thank you for that! Do you have recommendations for pens/paper per chance? Or any other tools? Thanks again!
Thank you! It makes me very happy to know that my content is reaching the right people! I agree, the style is very meditative, it helps me reflect and work through current life events. I added your suggestion about paper and tools to my list of content to create. I did make a video talking about a few different pen brands I like, but really whatever tool that feels right to create art with is the right one for you. Here is the link to the video about pens: ruclips.net/video/OAizueaUhCE/видео.htmlsi=K_r-s0tbeUuwiMcP I do have a lot of things to say about paper, Its extremely important too! Thank you for the suggestion and enjoying my work.
I just stumbled across your video. This is really nice. I enjoyed watching the process and you now have a new subscriber. Thank you for sharing. One thing though, I found it somewhat difficult to hear everything that you were saying as the music was drowning you out as you were drawing.
YES! Thank you for subscribing and enjoying my work! I will make note of the volume and work on improving that in the future. Thank you for letting me know! I am still learning all the ins and outs of this video editing thing. The feedback helps a lot
I was thinking to myself, ‘he must have a background in art to be this good!’ And then you to Picasso’s cafe napkin story! Haha Can you tell us what your background is so we might take the similar steps? 😊
I have added that to my spreadsheet of content to create! Thank you for the great question. I'll give a brief description of my background. I am a self taught artist. I did go to college for graphic design and quickly found out that its not the field for me. I have been employed as a bench jeweler for 10 years at a local jewelry store. I fabricate, repair and design jewelry. I have always been creating art, and in 2012 I decided to push a little harder to make it my life. The small town that I live in its difficult to make it as an artist, but being employed as a jeweler I am able to maintain both pretty well. In 2016 I decided to explore abstract line art more in depth and I havent gone back since. I have been featured in a few galleries around the country (USA). Its time consuming to be an artist and full of rejection from a lot of galleries and other places where art is displayed, but its very rewarding to get traction and to find yourself in your art. I hope that was the information you were looking for. I could probably talk a little too much about the steps Ive taken to get here. Thank you again for the question, it means a lot.
@@isaacpriorart I’m currently studying graphic design (ba) as a mature student. Thanks for your in-depth response. Your current job sounds very interesting too ✨
Nice! Graphic Design is an amazing tool to have under your belt. Even if you dont end up in the field, its still really helpful to be able to use all the skills and knowledge. I use my background in it to help me to do basic stuff. Being a bench jeweler is an interesting field, lots of things that apply from my background. You're welcome for the in depth response! I'm still going to make a video with all that info in it at a later date.
I will add your comment to my list of content to create. I bet other people have a difficult time starting and figuring out to build off of it. Thank you for this inspiration!
I love this kind of art. Your music and voice make this so calming to watch.
