I am 64 and I grew up watching this show, and it had such an impact on my life. Andy is gone but he lives on and I still live with his performances, his golden voice and his music. Thank's Andy for singing to me for all of these years!

I was born in 1949. Grew up in the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s. I loved and enjoyed watching the Andy Williams show. I wish we still had these shows today. Thank goodness for reruns, on certain occasions
Same here, it was Andy Williams, Perry Como and Dean Martin Christmas Shows we looked forward to watching. I still remember the excitement we felt because Christmas was so close.
Loved this era of music - my father sang songs like this when I was his baby girl ('53). His voice was beautiful too, and could calm me when he sang "Oh, My Papa".
It's weird to be able to track the first ten years of my childhood by the year each of these episodes aired. My parents loved this show, and we'd all watch it together. Such beautiful and fun songs performed with such simplicity. It didn't take much to entertain us back then.
I grew up with this music. NEVER, missed his show. I have had a crush on this man since 'can't get use to losing you' hit rhe radio. Fortunately, his music lives on. Thank you for this video, classic.
I was born in '73 and have been watching some of these show's & the singing of all of the crooner's from a time we're so far away from. God, Country, Family-friendly is so much needed now and I don't see it happening anymore. Thanks for having these for me to see, hearing them sing puts you in a content humbleness. God bless this lost art.
Ella Fitzgerald was the greatest jazz and blues singer I've got alot of her songs on c.ds and Andy Williams i been great to see and listen to Andy Williams and some of the other old crooner's the last time i saw him in concert, was at Nottingham (in England) theatre royal back in July 20/07 then a short while after that i heard he'd past away after suffering an illness i used to think he was very handsome as well as being a good smooth singer i often listen to his songs as I've got all his music on an old l.p record and on c.d's i felt so sad when i heard he'd past away but the memory of Andy and his music and his voice will live on.r.i.p ❤❤❤❤.
Same. I loved watching this show as a Mexican child growing up in the valley. It's still never officially Christmas until I hear Andy Williams singing The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.
I got into Andy Williams when I was 15 when I got a record with It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year on it for Christmas. I’m now 16 and have 31 Andy Williams records and 3 45s.
Not seen here, but Andy's performance with Simon and Garfunkel of "Scarborough Fair/Canticle"" is amazing. Just Paul's guitar and Paul, Art and Andy's vocals are breathtaking.
A very nice compilation of The Andy Williams Show. Brings back those good old times/memories. I enjoy v much from the v beginning of this video through the end. Andy Williams Show isn’t only brings joy to many, around the world. But- Has been also a lending hand to many new artists to grow in the music world. A legend. Such a beautiful soul. RIP. Thank you for posting, your efforts is much appreciated. Have a nice day🙂everyone.
This opens in 1965, the year I was born, which was the beginning of the end of wholesome entertainment in all forms! Luckily, wholesome family entertainment lasted several more years, but it was definitely already becoming a dying breed! 😢
Definitely one of the greatest male vocalists there ever was, he had a certain resonance to his voice that nobody else had, WOW!!! I absolutely LOVE ELLA!!! THE GREATEST FEMALE SINGER EVER!!! I could've done without Jerry Lewis.
The duet with Bing Crosby is excellent. Bing is the only one who can match Andy in quality of voice, range, smoothness, and style. The duet with Ella FItzgerald is great too, with both displaying great musicality.
The skit with Ray Steven's and Andy and Danny Thomas with little Jimmy Osmand was too funny. I'm probably wrong was that Jimmy's Mom playing the Sax? Anyways, Andy is so hilarious. We had to copy this so we can enjoy it over and over. When TV was at its best.
Hello! Andy was great and I REALLY miss shows like this - so much talent. Andy did use a mike. I remember seeing the original shows in the 60's with my parents and grandmother. You will see Andy with a mike in some of his solos in this video..

All complimentary comments below are here, too~ But I have a question: What was the name of the precious little girl(not Marie) who helped close a number of the shows...for some reason I seem to recall it was Angela. Sure would like to see that little tyke here!
I don't know if I am remembering correctly as it has been half a century, but I remember bits with a guy in a bear costume arguing with Andy over a large cookie. Does anyone else remember that part of the show?
Yup, Eddie Fischer. He was Carrie Fischer's father. He once was married to Debbie Reynolds. He left her for Elizabeth Taylor, until she fell for Richard Burton!!
This is a lot of what the world is missing today
Those were the good ole days when music and entertainers were authentic.
So sad. Just about all of them are all gone. And they lived in a time in our country which is totally unfamiliar to where we are now. Double sad.
I sooooooooooooooooo agree with you! Bless you!
Truer words were never spoken.😢
Totally agree, but what great memories we have, and they are ours….🎼Until it’s time for us to go !
Eric in Australia 🇦🇺
We miss you both

The Osmond Brothers were my absolute favorite of his guests!!

Andy,s rendition of oh holy night is my favorite.
His voice is so golden and loud he never even used a microphone

Andy did use a mike. I remember seeing the original shows in the 60's with my parents and grandmother.
You will see Andy with a mike in some of his solos in this video..

I don't know if I am remembering correctly as it has been half a century, but I remember bits with a guy in a bear costume arguing with Andy over a large cookie. Does anyone else remember that part of the show?
Yes! The bear was a regular feature. Showed up in at least one of the Christmas shows as well.
The "cookie bear" was on the second series run, 1969-1971.
This collection only covers the first series run, 1962-1967.
1967-1969 were specials only.
Loved the bear!
Loved the show!
Yes! Loved the bear and the cookie. And the bear never won. I thought maybe on the last show the bear would win. NOPE!
