This video gives an overview of a 1968 E-Type FHC (Fixed-Head Coupe) project car that is currently available for sale from Monocoque Metalworks. This is a GREAT project car - it is complete, numbers-matching, and in a very good overall condition for restoration. It was built in March of 1968, and was originally exported to the US, in Carmen Red with a Black interior.
Interested parties should contact Chuck Hadley directly by phone in the US - (443) 907-2287, by WhatsApp outside the US using the same number - (443) 907-2287, or by email - chuck@monocoque-metalworks.com
This car is complete, and is a fully matching numbers example - the engine and gearbox are the originals delivered with this car from the factory - as are ALL of the other components, which are all in a very good restorable condition.
The car has been off the road for over 30 years, but was well cared-for and stored in a safe, dry garage by the previous owner. All components removed from the car were carefully bagged and labeled. We have carefully re-assembled the car so that it can be safely shipped to it's new owner.
The purchaser of this E-Type will be able to reach me personally for any questions that you have throughout the restoration about the metalwork - or any other aspect of E-Type restoration that we can help with! PLUS - the purchaser of this project is entitled to 20% off any and all panels purchased for the restoration of this car.
Better act fast, though - they always go quick, and this is a really great project - don't miss it!

The series 1-1/2 was the prettiest of them all, imo!

Thanks for all you do to preserve these beauties!!! Looks like the twin to my 68 which we pulled out of my uncles barn 8 years ago, after a 25 year sleep.

Super nice project car, all the original trim and its apparent condition is a huge plus. Chuck, I agree with on not going overboard with floor rust areas, address what is needed, keep what remains and appears solid intact. With a little love and modest $ infusion, this will be a very nice car once again.

Have seen my share of rusted E Types and you have made a great find. Simple repairs needed, but no super heavy lifting.
