Realistically, if they are pulling icebergs that float so far south, there really is no problem here.
It is collecting pieces of ice people....not killing anything ..ice has been floating around our island for thousands of years...it is a natural cycle..
one day when i was a kid a younger kid kept taking my skateboard and after telling him not to use it 87 times i gave up on stopping him and he took it when i wasnt looking and fell and broke his nose. later that day he took it again.... so i had to hide it away

Thing I don’t get is wouldn’t the ice berg be salt water?
Iceberg is formed by fresh water freezing on land, so it'll melt into fresh water. Sea ice would have some salt in it but most of it is pushed out during the freezing process.
It still has to be desalinated.
It's "fresh" water. You can drink it. Not salty at all
