Over 8 Minutes of Motorcycle Racing filmed at the old Heidelberg Raceway in Heidelberg PA. Filmed live on location but an amateur in 1958. This is Part one. Part two to come sometime soon. Heidelberg raceway was opened in 1948 and held stock car races, motorcycle races, demolition derby and midget cars until it closed. Heidelberg was on the NASCAR tour until 1960. Many noteworthy drivers raced at Heidelberg including Buddy O'Connor in the number 38 car who was the uncle of former Pittsburgh Mayor Bob O'Connor.
