I let flowers self seed in the garden and spread seeds and plant transplants everywhere. It’s gorgeous AND I’m hoping to attract parasitoid wasps to help me combat all the pests. I’ve also started diversifying vegetable planting, spreading them across the space to prevent monoculture issues. Sprinkle sweet alyssum around the perimeter of every bed for all season blooms and tiny flowers that attract a ton of smaller pollinators and predators.
