    thanks for the video... I have to check a few of the grips a guy running his own club made here in the 90's - but I think he just did them cheap and dirty (well quick and fast) - cut some wood into size of a french grip (and straight) and drilled a hole down the centre and hey presto instant ambidextrous french grip!!! - so he didn't need to buy any french grips (fencing gear here is twice as expensive [at least] as the states..)
    he had too many beginners and not enough foils (he also used bamboo sticks as foils for some people so they had something to hold..) and that seemed to work
    sadly he passed away many years ago - Trevor Fowler of fowler's french fencing academy (or FFFA) in Adelaide Australia
