Coming from a guitar and effects background, my experience with Zoia, leading to synths, leading to modular is very similar to yours. Beta firmware 3.0 and the sampler module hadn’t worked for me yet. I am looking to play long samples, like field recordings. I think samples need to be stereo, but I should go back reading the documentation for the sampler module.
Yeah Robin, Stereo 16bit 48khz wav is what the samples need to be for the sampler to work. sounds like it'd be fun to play field recordings with, I'll have to play with that. thanks!
Wow, Matt Brown, legendary UFC fighter! Didn't know you were into Zoia! I too would love to see cv control over the sample slot. Hopefully they add that feature to an update before you start your next fight camp! Cheers!
Fabulous! Cheers! I gave it a go. It's great getting new functionality for something you already have. I got Cuckoo's new zoia patch there yesterday, the voice emulator type thing. It's absolutely brilliant. Sounds like the characters in the video game 'Celeste'. Amazing pedal, I'll never sell it
@@declanfarrell I completely agree, such a swiss army knife that can literally be anything you want it to be! The use cases just got exponentially bigger with this sampler! Cheers to you my friend!

33:59 The Zoia pedal has one control port that responds to CV signals from 0 to 5 volts...
true, I guess I just never use the cv port on the pedal much outside of an expression pedal input. have you found any cool uses for it? thanks!

I won't touch Zoia until they create a computer editor for it... Changing parameters on that tiny screen is ridiculous...
There is the Zoia Librarian. 🤷♂️. Works really well, imo.
