Favorite part of the video: 4:47-4:50, listening to the engine fire in slow motion under load. Total ear porn. Reminded me of the scene in The Hunt For Red October where Jonesy isolates the "seismic anomaly noise", slows it down, and discovers it's the sound if the Caterpillar Drive being made by Red October. One of my favorite movies. BTW- my son's got the corner on the Sears Rollover market... lol

Deklyn Denison depending on how hot the motor is it will probably try to run for a bit at the least.
All the compression release does is release the compression, but only for one revolution. It’s just to give the starter or the rope a head start, and you set that release after you spin over to tdc. Then it is spinning well and it releases the compression release, and away you go.
Had a 71 when I was 7 got stolen when I was 10 just bought a 74 XL 10 brings back so many memories

Hiya mate what ever happened to the pit bike engined little tractor u was building I can't seem to find any videos of the finished product, I've build a ride on mower with a 125cc pitbike engine in it I've been told it's an MTD, i've got a Westwood bonnet on it because it looks like a tractor lights are working & brake light works, horn, hydroilic fly off H/brake, I've just fitted front discs frm a peugeot moped with ebay Chinese calipers, land rover 3/4 master cylinder just putting two new rear tyres on atm 8", front rims are 8" with pathfinder tyres it's awesome fun in the Welsh forests
Every now and then we Get the Offroad mowers out and go for a good snow Rip instead of riding the quads the buggys and snowmobiles

fearless front why don't you install an switch by the steering wheel like when you roll it all you would have to do is flip the switch and it would shut off the engine and keep it from doing damage like the switch you had put on the murray for when it rolls over on it's side
its diesel. a switch isnt that easy. its fully mechanical
