Go v twin or big single like a 17.5. Something with an oil pump and ohv. I like old school opposed twins and L head singles too , but they have their limits.

U inspired me to start building my lawn tractor which is getting some parts up to $400 and I would love to see the Murray get a Briggs and Stratton v twin
It seems everybody is winter prepping for their new critters. My new critters however are of the aquatic sort, two baby tiger oscars to be exact lol bought them a little over a month ago. I also have a bearded dragon but i have had him for going on 5 years so hes not new but still very susceptible to winter. Winter prepping aquariums is strange where im not actually changing anything about the tank but preparing for a power outage. Hydrogen peroxide and potatoes are amazing for power outages, when peroxide comes in contact with cut up potatoes it releases oxygen just as it does with skin. A few air tight bottles and some air hose and youre good. I have 3 tanks to upkeep so theres lots of peroxide and potatoes on standby lol If the power goes out i just get my dragon zakk out of his enclosure and keep him under my clothes to keep warm from skin contact. I sorta want to get goats but at the same time i dont haha its a thought.
I live in waterboro Maine been wanting to get some goats but we all ready have about 26 chickens and about 45 ducks. I'm working on a little race mower, you should start a lawnmower race club. I have a mud mower hopefully next mud runs it will be running

Be careful with those bowl heaters, especially on those power strips. They have been known to burn barns down. Best thing is carry fresh water morning and night.
I got a 76ish suburban ss16 just because I liked your suburban so much, I would like to see the mini mud mower finished then the murray fixed and put back together

I’d be worried about the goats chewing the wires that are woven through the steel grating in the goat barn, the sears could use bigger more flotation-ish tires. Mine is a champ with balloons

Happy your back and I just stared mower mudding and I have a 12.5hp bridges motor and the mower is a weed eater but I broke the connecting rod and I got everything took it apart but I don't know how to put on back together lol

Hey Fearless, I'd love to think those mods on the Sears you talk about here are inspired by my own Diesel Sears (Roper in UK) which of course was totally inspired by your own Diesel Sears :-) mine has air intake hidden up under, it has the giantest tyres I could fit 26x12x12 and the exhaust goes under and out the back, so in deep water it sounds like an outboard motor 😜 It's the brown tractor you can see on this 'Tractorhead' channel ok 👍🏼

Hey TODD Ford ranger rims fit the lug pattern Sears so you could run 33inch tires on it if you lifted it.... Will need wheel spacers or you get a very top heavy tractor

Todd, on your barn use tar paper inside to stop the cold air that is what I did works good . I put mine up with a high powered staple gun .
